Jacob don't even think about it. We know how hard you work, and we know how exhausting long distance driving can be. If you need a day off, take a day off. You don't have fans, you have friends, and we worry about you. As always, much love and safe travels.
I know how you feel. When I start cleaning my house, if I even sit down, it's over for the rest of the day. We understand if you need a break! You're only human.
Jacob, never feel the need to apologize for taking a day off. In fact, if you need to take a few days in between videos, I don’t think anyone would be upset. Take care of yourself so you can continue living an adventure and providing us with great content.
Personally I love the roadside stop videos - you inspire me to pay attention and look around instead of just focusing on the destination
Omg, my home town of Grants Pass. They still do dress as caveman every year for the Boatnik festival over Memorial Day weekend.
The Cave Man statue and the story of the group who dressed up is GREAT! 👍
I enjoy your travel day videos. A little bit of footage through the windshield as you drive and a few random stops along the way is enough to make me happy! I especially enjoy footage of driving through mountains, because I used to LOVE driving through the Rockies when I lived in Denver, so that type of footage brings me a special kind of nostalgia.

The Oregon Duck is named Puddles. And for a long time, there was an agreement with UoO and Disney due to the likeness to Donald.

Fun fact: There is a small restaurant in Weed with the best meat loaf you'll ever have. Delicious meat loaf with mashed potatoes and onion rings on top, all covered with a bbq style gravy. It's amazing.

I just got back from a short road trip and it was fun but exhausting. I'm older than you but I'm still surprised by how much you do every day. And I love these vídeos of in-between places. Sometimes that's where the true adventures are. Take care.

Black Bird just opened a 2nd location. There is a giant bird there, too.
I used to go every time I stayed with my girlfriend when visiting Medford. I miss that store really, and medford in general, was kind of a nice place.

The Black Bird mascot looks exactly the same as one that they used to have at Yardbirds in Chehalis, Washington before it closed last year. There is still a massive bird in the front that doubles as a helicopter storage unit interestingly enough. The smaller Yardbird statue is now housed at the Lewis County Historical Museum in Chehalis, Washington.

The laying down version was a replacement for a standing version that caught fire and burned down. There's lots of videos for yard birds in Washington

LOVE this type of content. When we're on the road, this is the stuff we look for and honestly, it's the best memories. Random roadside stops. And you do such a great job of communicating just why this is an important part of the 'American Road Trip' Thanks for making such pleasant videos, they truly brighten my day as well as prep me for my next adventure.

Jacob, it was cool what you said about geocaching. It's a great sport or hobby (however you look at it) and the fact that you travel the country would give you so many great opportunities to nab unique caches. Take a day or two for yourself on the road and see! I had almost a 10 year break, then during the pandemic, I got into it again as a way to keep active and get outside. Four years later and I'm still hooked!

Your driving videos are my favorite. Checking out random things along the way. I love the calm, chill vibe and when I need to relax after work it's perfect. Also, I don't travel at all and basically see new and exciting things through TH-cam videos 😊 I give you credit, I don't know how you do all of this driving day after day - I can't spend more than two hours in the car without going stir crazy and being sore and tired. And we are the same age 😂.

it's always great to see you in Oregon. Even if it's only briefly. I imagine it's how I feel about the East Coast - It's nice but too dang far away. FYI, you have not been to prehistoric gardens yet. It's a little north of Trees of Mystery. Opened in 1955. No animatronics but still pretty fun.

Ah yes. The black bird statue of Oregon. As a little kid that statue would scare the hell out of me whenever we'd drive by it. I swear so many kids were terrified of that thing. Kept them from wanting to go to the store lol.

The bears on the Missouri flag look like human in bear suits. The bear on the California flag looks more like a real bear. So I would say California has the more bearish flag. I love these travel videos please more!
There used to be an arrow in the Black Bird's head, but they eventually took it out. I used to get Star Wars toys there in the 80's.
Enjoy when you go to NoCal, PNW and the like as many content creators simply do not go here. The East coast, south is common, so it’s nice to see a change of pace. Thanks for sharing your travels

When I attended ODU in Norfolk, the university had a mascot statue (Big Blue) in the student center. I believe he is still there.
