This video shows you how to replace the lock actuator so that you don’t need to purchase an entire latch assembly in your 2011-2018 Ram 1500. Power door lock systems typically use some sort of actuated motor to drive the lock mechanism. If the actuator breaks, then the door lock will no longer operate electronically.
This repair was done on a 2016 Ram 1500 SLT 3.6L Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Would this work on a 2019? Atleast the removing part?

Great step by step. Reinstall I've jacked it. First I broke off the bottom retaining clip. Superglue and electrical tape emergency solution #1. Second the actuator wiring harness connector does not fully seat into the new actuator female connector. So far batting 1000 on reinstall f-ups. New actuator has correct part number. Will try to zip tie the harness to the actuator door mount.
