Depends on the rim. On MOST aluminum rims the the tire can be peeled off either directions. I’m not sure why he’s trouble. There’s no high side on that rim.
@@alanpumphrey9639 also depends on tire compound and outside temp. Yokohama super singles are a bitch to take off sometimes cuz the walls are stiffer than a Michelin super single for example.
@@JJH-jc1fg I haven’t run into that issue with Yokohamas. That’s all we re currently using is 16ply as well. Either way, super single aluminum rims dont have a a high or low side, so the supposed suck is in either direction. I prefer the offset up so i can step into the rim if i need to. But whatdo i know. Only been doing tires for 30 years.
I,m just saying as I stated in the last video,plz change that lube soap 2 Myer tire supply then use a curved spoon bar,if your mounting compound soap is slippery that tire would have came off lil more easier,used a short hammer tap the back of the spoon bar,every video I see of this young man he working twice as hard and against his self lol ,but from what I see he is great guy !!!
just started working at a diesel mechanic shop and we also change semi truck tires, havent mastered it but im learning a lot from your videos, gracias carnal.
You got to much water in your can need more soap then water and those tires will come off easier then you think. But great job hope you did not charge the customer vavle stem cause you mever change them lol
He seems too small/short to be working on a tire like that, also he does things like stepping on the sidewall where he's prying that makes the job much harder than it should be. That said good job and good luck!
When I was in the business the compressor I had on my service truck was a small block Ford V-8 (Ford 305, something along those lines), and it was ran off a PTO off the main engine.
