The 1987 Banshee poster on the wall is perfect and has be a Doug addition. I have a friend that needs one to match his 1987 banshee we are restoring this winter.
Agreed. This and the 2jp are by far my favorite machines. They’re wicked rides and they catch everyone’s attention. Love watching them be ripped. Can’t wait for the cf1 upgrade when it’s pulling wheelies under its own power on flat ground.
I'm excited!!! You've got one seriously pissed off ripper on your hands!!! My advice.... Add 2" wheel spacers to all 4 corners. Just a tad bit more width!
You guys should check out the plastic welders at harbor freight. It would have worked great on your radiator. i have used those things to fix so many diffrent things in a pinch and you would be surprised at how strong things come out. I mean everything from cracked plastic bumpers on cars, to a manual shifter base in a buddys focus, to the clip that conects the window to the track in side your car door, a blend door in your cars heater / ac, to a tab on a headlight, a cracked plastic tank on the side of a radiator, ive done a couple cracked overflow bottles, a power steering Reservoir. Bet e een the plastic welder an the hot staple gun things you will be amazed what you can fix with those 2 things
Sick banshee poster, that red and white with gold wheels is the color scheme I have, my dad had one when I was a kid that was the same colors. I was really happy to find the one I did.
always loved this rs1, always took the abuse you guys give her but I would love to see Doug's Yamaha back together, that thing was getting rowdy when Cleeter was pulling wheelys with it. lol
@@SXSBlog Hey my Brothers yall need to talk franky into making an appearance at this event and y'all make it happen again and y'all take podium just like last year👏👏👏💪🤘🤘🚨🚨
I love this machine so much I don't have a side by side or a utv but if I were to ever get one this would be the one love it guys wish u would host fan rides I been watching since day one and your guys feel like a family to me I never met haha
Buddy of mine had the overflow bust off of his radiator the day before he was driving from Michigan to Florida. Stuck it on for him with some JB weld and told him to replace it as soon as he got to Florida. 2 years later he was still driving the car with the original repair.
26:44 please lock your binders when strapping something down. So scary to see. That little step on the handle side of the binder is designed to lock into the spring loaded locking mechanism (the silver bar going down the length of tail end of the binder)
Wow! 175 at the rear wheels. I'd just be happy and not worry. Maybe the original dyno run clutching was screwed up and now its actually fixed. Every think of that? I think 3 close runs almost the same is more indicative of normal than the old dyno curve.
From personal experiences the rs1 in stock form with minor clutching and a tune was very competitive racing against turbo machines on the track and through the woods. Could only imagine what a well built turbo rs1 would do. They’re just such nimble well handling machines.
@@SXSBlog I call it like I see it . Still kudos to overcoming the turnover and producing a good video and keeping the ball rolling. Perseverance goes a long way. Regardless I still watch haha.
@@SXSBlog I'll always support the channel and the fact you guys still overcome some pretty well difficult situations and yourself as a producer do your best to not gloss over some hard facts is better than most of the productions out there in the TH-cam universe. If your ever in the Tampa area dinner is on me Leo. I do appreciate the hard work.
I have been waiting forever to see the CF1 comeback and have always hoped you guys would do a proper build on it. I'm pumped to see where you guys take it. As a side note I would love to see Polaris bring back the RS1 as a RS1 Turbo Pro and Pro R the only issue is where I ride It cant be much wider then 64",
I love it when the tire beads don't wanna seat on those ITP's and also the System 3's I've had problems with both lol! XMR's were coming stock with those ITP Cryptids before the end of the 2022 models they changed the tire for all 23 XMR's I've seen so far...
You guys should get a wheels with street tires dedicated for the dyno. So the power loss is minimal and you can see what power everything makes with the same tire
Also a trick my buddy uses at his shop when hes dynoing diesel pickups making big power he puts the truck on the rollers and takes like some air out the tires straps the truck down tight then airs the tires back up i think he only takes like 15 or 20 psi out of tires that run like 60 psi on the road (i think im not 100% on the amount he takes out but i know he keeps it as evdn as posible side to side) but ive seen him do this to trucks that just wont hook at all on the dyno and after hes done this the truck makes a great pull and doesn't spin at all.
I know its small but, use a micrometer on the fitting the radiator that broke and drill out the whole thing while a shop vac or sum is going and retap the fitting. Job well done boys like always.
Been waiting for this one.. next up for CF1, Full restoration, Engine rebuild with extras and a big-ger turbo. YXZ after that. Would love to see the Sous rig get a EVO turbo for the Pro R. Even if it’s just a little one, would probably make a huge difference. Thanks
CF1 FTW! JPs engine in it... legend. I remember when you first built it.. you said something to the effect that it was too dangerous to sell to someone. (I was thinking right then "I wonder if I can make them an offer". Lol)
i think a bigger diameter exhaust pipe would help significantly. also i think when it comes to the build that you guys should not go over board, i’d like to see this in most the videos. not just every now and then like 2jp because the only thing it can do good is go in a straight line
Founding member here...lol...You guys are awesome sorry to lose a few but gained an awesome bro and y'all continue to give us all solid content from my family to yalls thank you
You guys gotta get some (a lot ) of that UV cure glue. That shit cures almost instantly stronger than the plastic your welding it to. A tube and a UV flashlight and your golden. Bet that barb would have lasted until this radiator blew up lol. I’ve used it on quite a few things and love that shot for a quick cheap rig.
For broken stuff you want to glue back on you guys should honestly try out Q bond I glued my shifter knob on in my 6 speed dodge 1 ton and it lasted 4 years until the truck got written off it’s one of those as seen on tv products that actually works I swear by it for glueing anything permanently
I had to rewind the video back where you were straight into the pole and you can see your tires are spinning more than they should so I’m not sure if it’s a bad set up for the tire grips or if it’s not made for that
I'd like to see a good low profile (still big enough for Leo) cage and wider suspension on the CF1 to really make that a weapon. It looks so fun as it is though, Keep up the good work

Seems like you know the curse of the eyeball full of brake fluid....
Burnt gear oil for win

when Doug said coolant was his least favorite fluid, I've never felt anything more relatable!
Yeah that’s my favorite rig. It needs hcr long travel
Cf1 rock bouncer... Wide long travel suspension. Js
Rock crawl build ! RC1
CF-1 should get a proper upgrade all bells n whistles after that prolly need those wheelie bars

Turbo S suspension swap on the CF1

Rs1 should wheelie easy, do big jumps and fly up hills. But most importantly the wheelies, all the wheelies. Good luck whatever you do.
