Not only would it synergize with that build, but in the story Robin spent a period of time in the Revolutionary Army, befriending Sabo and Koala, so it would totally make sense. Not to mention her lack of Former Baroque Works type given her lore affiliation as well...
I agree with bonney needing to be at least a 3 of in this deck. I do like the banish Zoro in my build. I usually play him on curve and then play the Nico Robin on the next turn after. That way I can trash one of their lives and then swing at them twice in one turn for 7K banish with Zoro and 2 don on leader. Other things I've felt like this deck likes: At least 2 Banish Nami for surprise. 7C linlin (the heal is beneficial mid game) 1C Searcher Law (Finds nami, Franky 2K, Nico Robin, Zoro, 9C Luffy) Gum Gum Giant (Despite no trigger this card is still busted and can be used since leader is straw hat crew, not to mention most of our big bodies at 9C which is perfect.)
1 cost purple law can also search for strawhats for a strawhat build too! And its not locked to purple so you can still run a bunch of triggers from nami, franky, robin, etc

Mained Zoro since I started playing towards the end of 06 and this is the deck I’m gonna pick up as my 2nd. I think the rush Ace that heals is too good not to play it’s won me so many games. Also yeah 6 drop Robin and 7 drop Lin are perfect because you can ramp if you go first to be at 6 for Robin or ramp if you go second for Lin both options open.

Really weird suggestion, but what are your thoughts on running the yellow queen mama chanter stage from the big mom starter deck? You can take a life and replace it with a 3 cost specifically from board to top of life. You can send cards like Saul and egghead Bonny or something, plus it’s a trigger you can toss off leader effect. Obviously there’s stronger cards to run instead, but think it could be a fun tech card?
I like the idea of the stage card with the egghead nico robin, play nico attack put on top and trigger to draw 2, I think it helps with the weakness of getting empty handed quickly
I also don't understand the banish zoro. Doesn't seem to synergize with anything. Gedatsu I feel like that's tech specifically for the dofi matchup. I've been running a ramp and rush list using the new 7c Sanji and 10c Ace with meh success. It seems to catch people off guard who aren't expecting it. Its not great against anything that swarms(so like most of the top meta decks haha) and auto loses to blackbeard but its fun. Put big pressure on opponents life early with banish and rest their blockers down with sanji to finish. Cracker is also big here since im taking a lot of life early to activate triggers and turn on Ace. Hitting for a Double attack and a banish on the same turn is fun. I've tried a purple strawhat crew version with half triggers and half strawhats but it was too inconsistent.
I've just thought about it but what do you think of adding the baron tamago package w/Big mom Pirates and stage like 9c Lin and the 3c pero to the Robin 09 cards, mostly trigger but solid ramp core.. Just a thought, love the vids as always!

What do you think about the yellow event "Flame Dragon King"? It is a good counter, lets you arrange your trigger heavy live and the event has a trigger itself. Will run 2 copies to test in the SIM.
I enjoy playing robin similar to pudding, except instead of turn 4 10mom it's turn 4 10ace. My deck consists of 18 2k counters, all with triggers, all searchable with my dereshi. The rest of my cards are for ramp, also with triggers, such as ms all sunday and doublefinger (who is also a 2k lol). nami, onami and luffy are all removal options with triggers, and 10c ace and 9c linlin are top end. Also I run tropical torment and 6c robin to banish life for free lol. Fun deck to play!
Lose, I guess. Blackbeard is overtuned and pretty much kills any on play focus decks. They can't counter play him as they have no way to punish him using his leader ability every turn after turn 2
Small thing that's bugged me in a couple of your videos now. As a new player I'm not super familiar with all these leaders and you have just a graphic of the Japanese card and you neve say what the leader does
I think in the first video the Lin Lin was the better play, the Doffy deck runs 1 blocker in the entire deck and putting him to zero is a lot more viable than giving him turns where even if we minus by 2 and 3k with Rayleigh is good enough cause Doffy can just develop a large enough board out of nowhere. Like even a Perona being played could mean death because of the lack of counter in hand but either way we can’t see how the other outcome would’ve went so it is what it is.

Ya give it a try, I messed with it a while back, and never really loved it outside of a going 2nd "turn 1" play to stop their Leaders first attack.
