Dog Day Bass Fishing In Central Florida

It's hot. It's humid. And the water is extremely warm and shallow, due to drought conditions. But with a moderate summer rain pattern developing, the water is SLOWLY on the rise, enough to brave the many sandbars and hazards. Taking advantage of prime feeding times is essential to fishing success this time of year. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time for a fairly successful outing.

Thanks. Yeah, I alternated between a swimbait, fluke and slugo, depending on wind.
