The new X 19+ or 19.1 would be a great upgrade. The changes aren't huge, so you won't have to get use to a new fit or touch. However, the upper being softer and offering a more plush touch on the ball is a welcome addition. The subtle changes definitely made it better in my opinion. -Cole

The new upper material is a softer knit and makes a huge difference with comfort and responsiveness. Although it's not a huge visual update, performance-wise it's definitely a step forward.

@@soccerdotcom Okay, softer and better comfort does so good so I maybe I don't need to jump to conclusions without actually trying the boot. The see through upper just reminds me of F50 99 grams, which certainly sucks and isn't made for playing.
Plus all the gimmicks like collars and laceless make me fear for the day that they actually stop offering laced version of the top models. Well, at least there is Mizuno

This. Softer upper, good. Thinner, what? Why for fucks sake. I don't want to see through my football boot, I want it to offer at least some protection. Only thing more stupid than ultra thin shoes is the laceless design. Why would I pay extra for a worse lockdown?
