Its about physics. Darwin's panels were smaller and square, therefore less stiff. Even if they were the same thickness and material a smaller panel will be stronger against bending. Now the ball is punching through the first set of panels but breaks through bending the last ones, whereas when they are smaller and square they are more resistant to bending and won't break as easily. With the thin ply wood again physics. Poor connection to the frame. The plastic its rather impressive although it looked thin he managed to bend it, but the connections were poor. And the stone was thin enough, it was only fixed at top and bottom on rails making it span vertically, but still quite impressive. Point is m sure Darwin can break 15 styrofoam panels if they were same size, spacings and fixings as Roberto's
