I like that you point out using face products on other body parts. I happen to use a face scrub on my underarms for when I want to clean off deodorant build-up. It works VERY well!!!

I haven't tried any Dollar Tree sheet masks, but am continually repurchasing the global beauty jars of gel mask. They are not an amazing formula or anything, but they are lovely light humectant masks, perfect under anything that might be slightly irritating, and most contain a touch of laureth 8 sulfate, which I think Dr taught us means very mild cleansing action. They are also nice when you want to mask but you don't want to unbalance your skin. Wow Dr Dray, did you get some good news? You seem very happy...your eyes are so lit up. 😊...and your clothing choice is so very stylish. I also use the Pyunkang Yul foaming cleanser and it is so very gentle.
the Neutrogena hydro boost gel cleanser dehydrated my skin over time. It started slowly with dryness around my eyes and then my whole face became dehydrated and sensitive. It took a while for me to figure this out. I started using the Cetaphil gentle cleanser and the dehydration cleared up in just a couple of weeks. I will never use a foaming cleanser again even if it is supposed to be hydrating. I can put high strength retinol, 20% vitamin C, any chemical sunscreen, all with no irritation or burning now.
I use it as a second cleanse so it has lots of oil to work on and I love it. I can see how using it on just skin might be drying. But for reference it is MUCH gentler than cerave foaming. That was too drying for me even over a face slathered in mineral oil.
Love all your content! Right now, my favorite body lotion is the Vaseline Extremely Dry Skin Rescue. It's fragrance free, not greasy at all, absorbs easily into my skin, and costs about 7 dollars for 13.5 oz. I'm on my third bottle.
Frugal peeps- omg i jjust discovered, at the Dollar Tree, the only product that has ever effortless removed waterproof eye makeup. Just used it, so easy peasy. Omg and it's the same thing i used in the 1980s. I just bought the B of J cleansing balm and tried it. Consistency is the same as Farmacy’s balm without the scent and price tag. Look forward to using it!
I'm telling you, the Beauty of Joseon Cleansing Balm, I have been using for years (per your suggestion, Dr. Dray) and haven't looked back. Dr. Dray, thanks so much for all the time you spend educating us! We SO APPRECIATE it! How does the Gold Bond compare to the Amlactin you mentioned in another video recently? I live in a hot, humid climate and need something that is effective but won't make me sweat so much! Thanks for your advice!
Hi, I have used both and they have different textures overall imo, the GoldBond one is a true cream, I find that it absorbs fully and doesn’t leave more of a residue or sticky film but it is on the thicker side. The Amlactin 12% lactic acid one is a true lotion texture wise, it quickly absorbs and I can’t really feel it afterwards however it does have a strong unpleasant smell but it doesn’t linger thankfully. Hope this helps!
Hi Dr. Dray - Happy Friday! You look pretty with you hair back like that! Has anybody tried the Gold Bond Crepe Corrector? I have crepy skin on my arms and legs from all that wisdom 🤗Happy Summer! 🌻
I got the goodal rice milk cream from your recommendation, the product is cheaper than it feels, it melts into my skin effortlessly and it hydrates without greasy feel. if you tell me this cream cost $50 I will believe you
Nice to see that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing gel is one of your favorites 🙂 I buy that cleanser and the Ultra Gentle creamy cleanser (fragrance free) . Both of these products are very gentle to remove eye makeup as well. Thank you Dr Dray for sharing another fun video. Take care everyone 🌹
Just had my mole body checkup by my double board certified dermatologist. Good checkup. Except I have to come up with cash for brown keratosis removal again.
Hello Dr. Dray, I love your closing statement, sunscreen and subscribe! I just bought a tube of Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 50+. I'm afraid to use it because I'm unsure if it provides UVA and UVB protection. The active ingredients are: Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 7%, Oxybenzone 6%, Titanium Dioxide 5.7%, Do you think it protects against both UVB & UVA rays?
Yes. With those ingredients it looks like a hybrid sunscreen. I find that sunscreens with zinc oxide helps but those are the ones that leave a white cast. I have solar urticaria so I know a lot about different sunscreen ingredients lol
Hahah my car seat has two white leg marks and it’s sooooo hard to clean it off. I try to remember to put a towel in the seat when my legs are covered in sunscreen but obviously I’ve forgotten a few times. Also random white smears on my door and arm rest. Oh well!
I LOVED the texture of that new Paula’s Choice CALM face cleanser BUT the Cocamidopropyl Betaine irritates my face. After week 2 is when I noticed it. It can be an irritating ingredient for some folks and I’m one of them. I really wish that ingredient wasn’t in it. 😔 The Neutrogena gel cleanser also irritated my face. I bought the BOJ cleansing balm. I was VERY underwhelmed with it and I honestly didn’t like the packaging. It was just annoying.
I suggest trying the La Roche Posay Toleraine hydrating cleanser. Even their toleraine for normal to oily skin…omg…I couldn’t believe it, so good!!! It has to be THE best cleanser I have ever used. I know you don’t know me, please give it a try. You get a very large bottle for $16.99 (I believe) at Target and it takes so very little to do the job.
Hello Doctor , can we still keep using tyrosinase inhibitors after the hyperpigmentation has completely gone . Like can we still use to prevent that hyperpigmentation from coming back.
I would check out her videos on which ever tyrosinase inhibitor you're currently using. I've read some articles that say some of them are okay for long term use depending on how your skin reacts to it but that some of them can have some side effects.
Hi, older woman here, if you're interested in experience. I used to live in Houston and fought humidity-induced oiliness in the summer. I alternated the blotting papers with powder. With my skin, I was afraid of build up and missing color. I replied in case Dr. Drey doesn't see your question. Good luck with looking good!
I am going on vacation next month with a BIIIIG chunk of my family, so, I want to reduce my skincare steps, and I was trying to remember which is the cleansing balm or micellar water that does not need to be rinsed? Is it the one mentioned on this video? Thanks Dr. Dray and anyone who could help me out!
In Dr Dray's videos on micellar water, she tends to advise rinsing them off even though they say not to. It's generally used as a first step in a double cleanse (although there are actual micellar gel cleansers like Simple and Garnier). The doctors who do like micellar waters tend to recommend the Bioderma one.
@@alyshal417 thanks! I think this is one of the two she has mentioned that does not need to be rinsed. I can’t find the video where she talked about them and I’m kicking myself for not writing it down. I know she prefers the 2 step cleansing method but when you don’t have the time or the resources, this could help.
off topic, but I've been wondering how to fix body odor after using an anti-bacterial deodrant. I didn't know it was bad and making my body odor worse at the time, so I was wondering if there's anyway to fix it.
@@db-gb5xi yeah I've watched most of them, it's how I found out that antibacterial deodorant makes the bacteria resistant. the bezone peroxide helps a little bit but it's hard to find higher than 5% in Canada
Hi haleymaebelle, You definitely need an "anti-perspirant deodorant" that prevents perspiring (ie. sweating)...not just a 'deodorant' which won't stop perspiration at all, as they only temporarily mask odors. You must use an "anti-perspirant deodorant" that contains aluminum, otherwise it won't actually stop the sweating. Ask your pharmacist to select one for you using this criteria. Also, ask your pharmacist to choose a "benzol peroxide" wash for you to use. These washes (not just "anti-bacterial" washes) are usually used to treat face & body acne; but can also be used to wash armpits & feet, to effectively deodorize these sweat prone areas. For best results, be consistent and use the benzol peroxide wash each time you shower, everyday/evening. Dr Dray recommends and uses a benzol peroxide washes as preventive measure for sweating. When Dr Dray showers she lathers the areas first with the benzol peroxide wash, she leaves the lather there for about 5 minutes, then rinses it off thoroughly. An "anti-perspirant deodorant" can then be used. In my opinion, an anti-perspirant deodorant spray is more hygienic to use, rather than the roll-on method. Keeping the arm pits hair free also helps. Finally, also avoid wearing synthetic and synthetic blend fabrics, which don't allow the skin to 'breathe'. Instead choose loose clothing made from pure cotton, 100% linen , 100% rayon etc. Stay away from fabrics such as nylon, Lycra etc. If you follow this advice consistently, you should no longer have a problem with the odours associated with sweating. If you still have a problem, seek medical advice from your doctor. I really hope this helps 👱🏻♀️❤️
@@nadab4750 thank you, it does. I do have an anti-perspirant deodorant, I use the dove clinical protection that dr dray recommends. I used to use dove's men+ care antibacterial dry spray (I'm a women but I've found that men's deodorant's are stronger than women's). I was always wondering why my body odour was getting worse and I didn't know antibacterial deodorants and soaps make the bacteria more resistant. I've noticed even after leaving the benzone peroxide on for 7 minutes the odour doesn't go away, I have to run hot water over it for at least 5 minutes until it goes way. I don't really know how to fix it or if there is a way to fix it, I might try to find a higher percentage of benzone peroxide but I've usually never found more then 5% (and that one was worse than the 4% cerave) and we don't have panoxly in canada. (btw sorry if some of my spelling is off, I'm dyslexic)
@@haleymaebelle2391 years ago, when I had really bad odour I tried various drug store products and none worked. I still smelled during the day, and sometimes embarrassingly bad. What worked for me was baking soda! I would pay my arm pit with body lotion or water, sprinkle some baking soda on my palm and pat it on top of the lotion/water. PAT, do not rub because baking soda can be abrasive if you rub it in. This was my hg for years! You can look up diy vids on baking soda deodorants too (once I mixed coconut oil, baking soda and some essential oils in a jar). But lotion/water and baking soda is quick and simplest for me. However, there’s a couple of things you need to be aware of. I like to do this before I put on clothes so baking soda doesn’t get on them. However, you’ll still see baking soda on the arm pit area of your tops, which washes off in the laundry (though I mostly wear cotton, wool, polyester. I don’t know about silk). MOST importantly, baking soda can mess up the ph balance of your arm pit. I used this for approx 10 years and during this time I did get arm pit rash a handful of times. The rash lasted about a couple days, and then I was able to go back and use backing soda. This was my journey and I guess it depends on your own skin’s sensitivity. So do some research and decide if you want to give it a try. Funny enough, during covid I just stopped using anything on my arm pit. since I was at home and living by myself I didn’t care. I guess over time my body just adapted. Now, I don’t have to use deodorant or baking soda, and i don’t smell at all, yay!

Hi Jackie! Happy Thursday!! How are you today! I hope you are doing well and that you had a beautiful day. We had misty rain for most of the day with heavier rain moving in tonight and into tomorrow so we're under a flood watch again. I had a busy day and I'm always happy to be around so many animals. Right now I'm ready for cuddles with my own and also ready for a relaxing cup of tea. Would love for you to join me my sweet friend. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. Have a lovely evening. 💜🙏💜🕊💜🐈💜☕💜

Look at Miss Lady.. Looking very pretty today 🎉❤..
Hi Dr Dray hope your doing amazingly well. Thanks for the content!
Thank you for the KP suggestion! 👍🏻
Have a great weekend Dr. Dray!!
Gold Bond ❤ Korean hair color is great too 🌷
@@mandyfernandez Thanks so much! Just the info I'm looking for!!! Have a fantastic week!!!
@@CLAIRE-cu9un so glad it helped, you too!
One of my favorite videos ❤ Empties Videos!
Please make a video about your favorite korean skincare😍🥰
I wish we could get the Gold Bond Retinol body lotion in Australia - we just don't have the same access to products that the US does. Oh well!
Same with Camada, but I don't live so far away from the USA border so I can drive over and fill up.
Hi Dr. Dray - Happy Friday! You look pretty with you hair back like that! Has anybody tried the Gold Bond Crepe Corrector? I have crepy skin on my arms and legs from all that wisdom 🤗Happy Summer! 🌻
Lovely shirt. Thanks for the info as always. ❤
I got the goodal rice milk cream from your recommendation, the product is cheaper than it feels, it melts into my skin effortlessly and it hydrates without greasy feel. if you tell me this cream cost $50 I will believe you
Happy Thursday Dr Dray…see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Hi Paula, Love to all! 👱🏻♀️❤️
Hi darling…thank you lots of love coming your way x♥️
I use the Cera Ve eyecream. ❤😊
Ok Dr. Dray I'm liking this lewk,
Nice to see that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing gel is one of your favorites 🙂 I buy that cleanser and the Ultra Gentle creamy cleanser (fragrance free) . Both of these products are very gentle to remove eye makeup as well. Thank you Dr Dray for sharing another fun video. Take care everyone 🌹
I love your review videos! 🥰 I’ve got some of that Godal Vegan Rice Milk & like it! I’ve got some Matrixal, spelling wrong I’m sure!
The gold bond CREPE CORRECTOR body lotion is new , does anyone like it for mature skin?❤❤
love the BOJ cleansing balm and gold bond body lotion
Good morning dr dray
Great information luke always. By the way you look so cute. 🎉
Love this!
Just had my mole body checkup by my double board certified dermatologist. Good checkup. Except I have to come up with cash for brown keratosis removal again.
Dr dray: the black tea line isn't THAT worth it
Also dr dray: has 4 empties from the "expensive " line
Yes to the k beauty goodies.
The target in my neighborhood sell the same size Gold Bond for more than $15
The description on the site says it provides UVA and UVB protection.
😃👍 So helpful, thank you
I'm needing a sunscreen that doesn't get all over the black leather in my car any suggestions?
Vanicream cleanser is a good one to try too
When do you use the maelove serum? Morning or night?
@dr dray can you share an alternative to Aveeno Calm and Restore gel moisturizer and serum as they are not easily available in my home country
Nice video 👍❤
Hello Doctor , can we still keep using tyrosinase inhibitors after the hyperpigmentation has completely gone . Like can we still use to prevent that hyperpigmentation from coming back.
I would check out her videos on which ever tyrosinase inhibitor you're currently using. I've read some articles that say some of them are okay for long term use depending on how your skin reacts to it but that some of them can have some side effects.
Happy 4 July 😊
Happy Thursday Dr. Dray. I personally love the Alpa Skin Care lotion and I can’t find it. Any alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated.❤
Amazon has the Alpha body lotion
They also have their own site.
hello! is using a compact powder throughout the day to remove shine better than using a blotting paper ?
Hi, older woman here, if you're interested in experience. I used to live in Houston and fought humidity-induced oiliness in the summer. I alternated the blotting papers with powder. With my skin, I was afraid of build up and missing color. I replied in case Dr. Drey doesn't see your question. Good luck with looking good!
@@PAMELAPORTER-ci7mr thank you ❤
Thank you
What about ripping those off if you're on Vit A?
The bioderma micellar water was developed for use in areas without easy access to clean water, so no rinsing needed
The avene gentle cleanser can also be used with no water if you’re going camping 😃
@@sw-ou6sg That's true but she still recommends rinsing as there is stuff left behind.
Those micro darts are horrible, I almost ripped off my under eye skin 😢
off topic, but I've been wondering how to fix body odor after using an anti-bacterial deodrant. I didn't know it was bad and making my body odor worse at the time, so I was wondering if there's anyway to fix it.
Don't know if they would help but Dr Dray does have a number of videos on body odor.
I really hope this helps
👱🏻♀️❤️
How much retinol is in the gold bond?
What is the Dollar Tree shaving product?
It's an EOS dupe in a pump style bottle. It comes in raspberry or lavender scent. Fantastic product. I've been using it for years
