Helium was the first guy who grabbed my ears and brought me into the whole beatbox scene. Love you for that man. Also, this is the best reaction of Den I've seen. Clearly shows us the insane difficulty level of Dens routines and how he is holding back his techniques to make the musicality his priority. Awesome stuff

Watching this reaction for the first time after watching Helium's tag team version I can see Helium plotting in real time what he's going to do for the tag team video. That tag team video was the unexpected video no one saw coming and no one knew they needed.
I thought it was interesting that Inertia did a similar thing to Den at the "You deserve better..." spot where he alternates the inward bass and high note melody. You could tell in Inertia's that it wasn't quite hitting how Den's was, and Den's notes were more pronounced and accurate. I feel like Den and Hiss are both doing something extra special in these competition rounds because they're bringing out nice tracks and melodies but while throwing in little nods to the fact that they can very accurately musically pull off different skills that many other beatboxers use. To me the fact they're doing battles while still making music shows that their musicality is extremely high level, and that they're really skilled in music and love it.
I think for the upcoming rounds he will need to show a bit more of the traditional beatbox skillset, because hes now going up against some beasts in this format who are exceptionally good at traditional battle beatbox, and not bad musicality wise themselves. Im not saying to abandon his musicality, but I think his musicality will require a bit more raw battle technicality along with it. I want him to win it all, and cant wait to see what he comes up with next.
