Robo and Ayla for me was interchangeable. However, Frog and Crono were indispensable. I loved how Ayla was a heavy hitter, but I also loved Robo's moves. Also, when I was young, when I liked the character's personality they quickly became my favorite characters. Sort of like Red XIII, sweet character, final weapon not the strongest, and the limit breaks were also kind of meh.
For me, it was always Lucca, Frog and Crono. I just loved the character of Lucca and I liked to have fire for magic. But it was a perfect problem to have, WHO TO BRING WITH YOU! I loved them all, they were all special.
wish Square reMake (or remaster) it :3 maybe a compilation of classic square games from PS1 era in HD (CT, CC, Legend of Mana, Saga Frontier, etc)... :v
