Super big thank you to you both exploring the world for us, which some of us won't be able to do. We enjoy your exciting adventures. Your bravery inspires us alot, thank you. From your fellow South African's. Deon & Deedee PS: Always praying for you.
Sitting on edge knowing what you are going through. I enjoy watching all your adventures. Good luck with your travels. Thank you for taking me all over with you Dan and Leanne
Maybe add some dielectric grease to the corrosive wiring points to help prevent rust issues down the line. 🤙👍 you guys are awesome! Good job Danny on the temporary fix!
Love what Dan said , as a South African you have to make a plan, talk about team work , Leanne even helped with the repairs, great travel companion. What a time to be alive, to see such a stunning place. Happle travels.

I'm glad to see your in France Dan you are talented you seem to know how to solve problems and leanne is very supportive and I love the way that both of you have a positive attitude toward the unknow.
Hello friends, Welcome to France. I'm sorry to see the issues with your car and finally you both fixed it. You can do everything inside your car such as eating, sleeping instead of hiring a house or staying in a hotel. The best thing having this kind of car is saving your money. I wish, everything in your tour be successful without any issues.
He guys! Together you are a perfect team! And lucky you as you got someone back in SA who can guide correctly regarding car. Congratulations on getting Big Red back on track!!!
The thing I dread breaking down abroad. Well done for being so calm about it. Camping Gaz are the only universal bottle, one of the reasons it is so expensive. Looking forward to next video
Hi guys you can purchase a spray can of contact cleaner which may help with your fuse box cleaning. It's made for this purpose to clean electrical contacts good luck 👍
Hi you lovely people! So sorry to see that you are having problems with Big Red. But Dan you are amazing at solving your problems. I know you want to make your videos but life happens and you both are coping so well. Keep on working together and supporting each other. I like every video you make even if it is fixing your van or Leanne cooking. You both look so good and your great positive attitude will help you continue with your adventures. I was sad that you were sad. But i have every faith in you both because you are so resilient, resourceful and skilled. You are both able to deal well with new and difficult situations and to find solutions and that makes me like you both even more. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the kind words😁😁😁 it’s amazing to have people like you support us in everything we do and we know that we can always move forward when we have the support of people like you😁❤️ thank you❤️
We wanted to but it’s too expensive in the UK, was planning to do it in Morocco but the van problems got to us first😜 but at least Big Red is all serviced now😁
Regardless of what happened, Daniel is a great handyman. He can be a carpenter or a mechanic. I need to up my skills, but I don't think I would ever be that great with the things he does.
Really enjoying your travells through la belle europe ❤. Sorry to see you have van troubles, but top marks for the troubleshooting 👌. Enjoy the journey guys 😊
Well done for getting a temporary fix on Big Red, hopefully Dan can clean the contacts himself to save some more money. And congratulations to Leanne upon learning portion control when buy minced meat.
Oh yes I have an old OBDCII that I plug into my car, I brought it when I went to buy cars as well (all used lol). I do want to get one with an App like you have. Also if you drive a lot they have the packages where the readout is constant like any of your gauges. That's handy to have the status in real time! Anyway yes, include the maintenance and repairs in these vlogs, it's all about the VanLife journey...not all Instagram pictures 🙂Oh my gosh I can't believe you had to hot wire it, but you essentially created a DIY Push to start switch/button like what a lot new cars have lol :-)))))))
Finally you guys are back 😅 oh! car problems it’s happen without notice .in bright side thats ,still a part of journey. Later on, that will be the story to tell about journey or Europe.
Oh wow, you guys have had some awful luck. I'd hire you anytime Leanne, but you'd need to get more than your little finger oily, you little princess you! 😂❤, good job you've got such a clever Danny with you though, to get you through your troubles. Glad to see you're on your way, keep safe and hope big red doesn't let you down again. Looking forward to your next post. Good luck 🤞 with❤❤.
I’ve used self checkouts and several countries and I SWEAR France was the hardest to get a hang of. Options for checking, options for bags, payment option, then hit pay so it charges the card 🤦♀️ And the attendants get annoyed.
Don't worry about the spiders and bugs in france theres nothing that can hurt you, not that i would fancy sleeping with the spiders 😂 I also have a transit custom camper and have never had bugs getting inside not that I've noticed anyway so maybe you just stayed in a spot with loads and loads of spiders.. you would think if anything would get in it would be ants but not a common issue either.
The only dangerous spider in France is the black widow. It's still limited to southern France and very rare, it's not agressive and the venom isn't that dangerous. Snakes aren't too dangerous either, both their bites are generally not fatal.
Hi everyone, from South France, 🌴🌞 This French cemetery is one of the explanations of why the French people are tired of the endless American bashing of World War II and that we're supposed to be cowards because we surrendered. We lost so many soldiers in World War I ⇾ France: 1,397,800 dead and 4,266,000 wounded; USA: 116,708 dead and 205,690 wounded; Great Britain: 885,138 dead and 1,663,435 wounded. In 1914, France was at war with Germany for the second time in less than 50 years (the first was in 1870). World War II was, for us, the Frenchmen, the third war against the Germans in 80 years. And Germany triggered the hostilities each time. There was so much suffering and so much pain in French families. Peace, folks. ☮👈😎
Pro tip. Next time you've to change fuel/oil filters, basically any cylindrical unit that screws onto anything, use a belt wrench. Saves you that entire mess and the dirty face. and teeth🤣🤭
your dad does not know much either , you replaced the fuel filter , the fuel system needs to be Bled . as there is air in the system , you should have put new fuel in the fuel filter . and then crank the car . you are not a mechanic , leave it to people who know what they are doing .the OBD reader is only as good as the person using it .
Roy, I myself (Daniel) have built 2 cars. Did the body work and rebuilt engines. The same cars today have gone over 100k miles. Bleeding the fuel lines can be done but all it would do is kill the engine due to air in the pipe and then once the air is out, It will be running fine. I know an OBD 2 reader can only take you so far but it has helped us fix the car. I also think there is no harm in learning a little bit about your own car so that if you are stuck in the middle of nowhere, at least you can get yourself out the scenario😁
SERIOUSLY THE BEST COUPLES🎉😊THATSWHY YOU HAVE GOTTED MY FIRST COMMENT (I KNOW I HAVE A LOWER REACH OF SUBSCRIBERS BUT MY HEART REACH IS TOO BIG)Its Enough for me🥳🤯
Dan is a talent, a master of all trades. Leanne is so supportive and sensible. With this combination you both will weather any storm. God be with you both, Always! 👍🙏

Are you guys an official couple or married? If that's the case then I'm pretty sure the 180 days won't apply as you are travelling together
😂😂😂❤❤
Pro tip. Next time you've to change fuel/oil filters, basically any cylindrical unit that screws onto anything, use a belt wrench. Saves you that entire mess and the dirty face. and teeth🤣🤭
We were looking for it but only found it on a store after servicing the van😂 would of been super handy to have it😜
I haven't watched it yet, but dispatches did a documentary on temu it wasnt good, toxic and contaminated products.
van is so rusty near oil filter
That rust needs to be sorted ASAP before it fully rots
400g of mince😂
😂😂 at least it’s not 800g this time😂

Stop saying car when your VAN isnt a car!
And your language is what??? Stop being picky when you know what they mean
And it isn’t car because…? It has a motor, four wheels and a body with indoor space so..? Get over it dude.
Thanks
