Well Melissa I think 🤔 you are extremely brave for doing this trip to Prague if you were on your own, As for finding somewhere to eat, I have found that it’s great fun if you go into a restaurant and ask if they will translate the menu for you or recommend a traditional meal. Spending a Weekend in Prague with Me Melissa had always dreamt of a romantic getaway, and this weekend in Prague seemed like the perfect escape. As she stepped off the plane, the city's charm wrapped around her like a warm embrace. The cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and the Vltava River flowing gracefully through the heart of the city were straight out of a fairy tale. The first night was enchanting. We dined at a fabulous restaurant tucked away in a narrow alley. Candlelight flickered on our table as we enjoyed traditional Czech dishes paired with excellent wine. The flavours danced on our tongues, and the soft melodies of a violinist added to the magic. Melissa’s eyes sparkled with joy, and laughter filled the air as we shared stories and dreams. The next day, we plunged into the bustling shopping scene. Prague’s boutiques and markets offered an array of treasures, from hand-crafted jewellery to unique fashion finds. We wandered hand in hand, losing track of time as we explored every nook and cranny of the vibrant city. The hours flew by, and we ended our spree with delicious street food, savouring the local delicacies as the city lights began to twinkle. Our itinerary included a visit to the iconic Dancing House. The building’s whimsical, modern design stood in stark contrast to Prague’s traditional architecture, symbolizing the blend of history and innovation that defines the city. As we toured the building, Melissa’s excitement was palpable, and we marvelled at the stunning views from the top. On the final day, we embarked on a romantic keep-fit walk, aiming to reach 20,000 steps. We strolled along the picturesque streets, through lush parks, and across charming bridges. Every step brought us closer together. Melissa’s enthusiasm was infectious, and we found ourselves laughing and talking about anything and everything. The highlight of our walk was climbing up Petrin Hill. The panoramic view of Prague from the top was breath-taking. We stood there, hand in hand, taking in the sight of the city sprawled out before us. It was a moment of pure bliss. As the sun set on our last evening, we found a cosy café overlooking the river. The sky painted a canvas of pinks and oranges, reflecting off the water. Melissa turned to me, her eyes filled with a mix of happiness and longing. “This weekend has been perfect,” she said softly. “I feel like I’ve found a piece of my heart in this city.” I smiled and took her hand. “And you’ve found something else, too.” She looked at me questioningly. “You’ve found your soul mate,” I whispered, leaning in to kiss her gently. In that moment, we knew that our love was timeless, just like the city of Prague. As we made a promise to return to this magical place another time, we knew our story was just beginning.
