    I like how TH-cam didn't recommend me this video when I searched for it. I had to go through the channel to search for this video.

    4:15 For anyone using Ubuntu, you will have to go all the way back to 'Directory', hit the forward key when highlighted over 'media', next there should be a user, or your laptop/PC name, highlight that and press the forward key again. There you should see all your drives. Pick the one you want the image to save to.

      If your laptop shuts down in the middle of the night while it is imaging your damaged hard drive. All is not lost. The image.dd still exists, and TestDisk can pick up where it left off. If you do the same steps as listed above, once you hit 'c' for the correct location for the image. It will ask if you want to 'append an existing file'. You will click 'y' for yes. Soon, you will see your previous completed percentage as last night.
