The worms appear to be very content - and the casting look great too. The food supply seems abundant and moisture levels just the way they like it. I always thought that citrus was a no-no in worm bins but in your bin the oranges seem to work very well; at least the worms seem to dig it - interesting.
I started worm composting 2years ago in a vermihut similar to your 360. I have just harvested first 1/2 bucket compost. Not sure why the worms are still so few. Since changing out bedding I have seen baby worms. I still think I have fewer the 100 worms. My complaint of the system is the compaction that occurs on bottom tray (vermihut has a white tray with small holes to prevent compost from falling out of bin and clogging air flow). Going to add a 2*2 wood in two corners to keep trays from compacting down. When I added compost and dry leaves I introduced a small worm like insect, is that a springtail? Keep bin in laundry room. No fruit flies, I could not tell what the mite in your bin looks like. Your videos are very informative. Thank you for all your time spent to educate us in vermiculture.
I saw a beetle on the center orange at 0:46! I didn't freak out, though.

Holy springtails is right! Thought it was rock dust or egg shells at first! I’ve never had much of a problem with them. Notes are a different story...

Meh, that much citrus isn't gonna kill em. If any you can always just add some more eggshells to neutralize the acidity, right?
Danial Z absolutely.
