i paint in 3d, on miniatures, using acrylic underpainting but using oils over the surface, and these techniques are so amazing in increasing my own skills and abilities, thank you for sharing

A very interesting video. There is nothing wrong with your English at all. It's very good. You mentioned waiting for the paint to dry. How long did this take all together?

Thank you Antonios for sharing this amazing video!!! I noticed that you skipped some steps on video, and it is not clear how you achieved certain stage of painting. It would be great if you not skipping this important transition between stages of painting. I wish you good heath and hope that you will fight that disease. Stay healthy, all best for you ! Thank you for your wonderful work ❤❤❤❤❤

I used to draw great charcoal when I was in primary and high school. I've never made my peace with oil painting though. My art teacher who knew about my charcoal sketches insisted me to focus on oil on canvas and learning colors and wanted me to go to Art school after, but I couldn't because the process seemed too long and suffering for I was a bit too impatient and wanted everything to happen quickly as per my character. And there was no un-do in oil painting like in Photoshop lol, so there is that. Then my skills slowly faded over the years. My other lost skill was maths. I used to solve even the most difficult questions immediately, but now it takes me minutes to comprehend the question and even then I cannot solve it. I don't know what exactly happened to me. Perhaps it was about lacking practise. And I never learnt about the Sfumato technique in the past by the way. The reason I couldn't make peace with oil painting was the standard technique.

I love your channel so much you are an inspiration to us all!
I have a question if I may ask you. Is there any good Rabbit skin glue alternative for gesso for egg tempera painting? It might be a purely psychological problem but I find it very hard to paint on animal glue. I would be very happy if there was an alternative. Acrylic? PVA? Whatever it may be. Thank you on advance. And keep up the good work!!

Vidéo très instructive ...et comme l'artiste l'a très bien souligné , le mot clef c'est 'maquillage ' au pinceau sec afin d'étaler graduellement les pigments....et ,in fini, faire fondre les pourtours.
