My husband of 52 years was diagnosed with a lung disease that was terminal and I started to pray over him that God would breathe into his lungs His breath and my husband is still NOT needing oxygen and the pulmonologist is amazed at his health because he should be on oxygen. Yes, our God is Great. This was two years ago and we just celebrated our 54th anniversary. Thank you Lord that it is Your breath is our lungs and Your whispers that sustain us.

Amen! Praise will bring the Holy Spirit so very close that you can feel it. I believe that is why church services begin with praise ...to usher in the Spirit. And if you think about The Lord's Prayer, the prayer that Jesus literally speaks out to His disciples when they asked Him how they should pray. Jesus literally begins that prayer with, " Our Father who art in Heaven Hallow be Your name", which actually means, Praise Your name! Before Jesus says barely a word to the Father or asks for anything, He praises His Father. That in itself is powerful, and speaks volumes of importance. Praise is my favorite thing in the world. I used to praise with flags and dance when I was at my old church. I came to love it so much that I began to do it in the privacy of my own living room, with spiritual Christian music playing. I would just close my eyes and get lost in His healing presence. I lost my Mom 8 years ago to cancer and my Dad a week before Christmas this past year. My Father taught me so much about the Lord. He studied the Bible for over 30 years. He got hurt in church, as did I, at a young age, so we both stopped going, and it is odd, but we were both about the same age in life when it happened. I'm 41 now. We both were at the age of 30 in our lives when we were pushed out of church by hate and evil. Dad taught me that church is everywhere. It is in your heart. I definitely don't judge anyone whether they do or don't go to church. I try my best to love others like Jesus did. There are times when my heart and spirit miss church and fellowship. Your comment reminded me of that tonight. Thank you, glory be to God! When church stopped my flags stopped too, and now years later, I have moved and am not sure where I have put them. Your comment on here has lead my spirit and heart to go on a treasure hunt for them. If you read this, please pray for me and my family, and I will thank God for you in mine. God bless you always.
