    THANK YOU FOR THIS. I have watched multiple videos and they all make it super confusing for a beginner but yours made so much sense. I’m making my grandfather something and it’s my first time with procreate and I couldn’t figure out how to make a brush so this video was super easy and helpful

    I am stuck at import in SHAPE. Its only letting me import abr files.

  • @snmenji

    this is a great tutorial. when i tried making this brush, i used a different shape and added more highlights and shadows. but when i use it, it comes out transparent-ish, like an overlay. I've tried playing with the opacity but i cant find a solution. how can i fix this?

    • @AkaihanaDigitals
      @AkaihanaDigitals  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because you added more shadow, realistic brushes are great but have in mind that you can see the more white parts, and as the parts get darker, you can see them less. I would love to make it more realistic, but it will be transparent.

      It must be white and black, any grey will be semi transparent.

      Go into the shape section, and at the top it shows “shape source” and beside that, it says edit, then you press import and done

    So I created a rope brushe which works perfectly on the pad while I'm modifying it but once I go to use it functions completely differently and so it just looks like a spade out ill-oriented pattern... Help ?

      I put the rotation on "Following the line" and instead it acts as -100 !!

    • @AkaihanaDigitals
      @AkaihanaDigitals  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try in properties with “orient screen”

  • @_.0H3ll_M3l0._

    This didn’t work for me, the chains would always separate, anyway I can fix that?

    • @AkaihanaDigitals
      @AkaihanaDigitals  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look for the spicing at the stroke path, you have to move that several times until you are satisfied. Also, at shape, rotate all the way until it says “follow the stroke”. Remember to un do the “orient screen” at the properties. Let me know
