Pumpkin Pie - You Suck at Cooking (episode 68)

Pumpkins are good for literally 2 things; making pumpkin pies, and throwing them off bridges.

To make the pie:
Buy a pie crust. Nobody has time for that and they’re like a buck or two
Take a 13.5oz/398ml can of pure pumpkin. Not “pumpkin pie filling.” Don’t be an animal
But that in a bowl. It’s gonna be thick. Be prepared for that
Add two eggs
Add 3/4 cup of sugar
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 1/4 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
(or if you’re a real hot shot, use 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp ground ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves)
Wangjangle that together until it’s smooth.
Slowly add in 1 1/2 cups of 10% cream
Doubt yourself because something this liquidy could never be a pie.
Put it the undo on 425undo for 15 minutes.
Reduce it to 350.
Now here’s where you’re gonna have to make a judgment call. Bake for 30 minutes but test the wobble. The wobble tells you everything. When the wobble is gone, the pie is ready. A deep dish crust could take an hour. There’s quite a range you can cook it in where it will still turn out great.
Take it out and leave it for at least an hour, and admire the process of turning a liquid into a solid.

I can't even find pumpkins in my area, I live on an island near the USA with my Hamster army, I usually never find pumpkins around here but once a couple months I find them near the 40 yards tall trees but they're usually small and really fast, can someone help me with this?

I was in a really weird place with my ex a few months ago where she told me she had feelings for someone else, AND she was moving to the other side of the state(we'd been dating for a year) But within the last 2 weeks of her living in town she wanted to stay with me before she moved away. And I had this constant unsettling anxious feeling, and nothing felt genuine. She even said I love you during that period. I hurt, I was anxious, I was terrified with anticipation about what it would be like without her, and I was in this really fucking weird headspace for two weeks. When I felt like shit I watched these videos, constantly. I ended up binging every single one, and now whenever I hear the intro I get this sort of comforting feeling. Which is completely subjective and circumstancial of course. So thanks for the laughs, knowledge and odd comfort

as a seasoned pumpkin hunter, it's a lot harder than most think. For example, once me and some buddies were hunting pumpkins when we stumbled upon a nest, while we were distracted the mother came back, we barely made it out with our lives but, Todd wasn't so lucky.....

Honestly,wild pumpkins are dangerous if you seem hostile to them that's why I set pumpkin traps instead of directly catching them
If you didn't know,pumpkin traps are normally used to catch pumpkins that raid the kitchen but they're good for hunting.
Just don't use pumpkins,anything orange coloured,anything other than orange coloured or pumpkins as bait
And there’s also the issue with how you’re 50% likely to catch a pregnant pumpkin and how human science hasn’t figured out how to tell the difference until after we’ve cut them open
