WOW! And to think I do this all by myself! Using 2x4 studs and laminating lauan.. with no CNC machines. All by hand....

Genuine question, can you upload any videos @Stairman, I would be really interested to see as we don't all have CNC machines?

@@videogalore down on the floor you lay out a radius. Mark your treads and risers. Then you make a story Pole for whatever increment rides you have AKA 7 and 11/16 probably.. it's actually very simple. It's down by the numbers. Numbers don't lie

@@stairman3151 I'm looking at a helical stair with solid walls below both sides to support the treads, so it's really the handrails I need to form in some way or another as I'm cheating on the staircase really.

@@videogalore look up TH-cam on how to glue up bending rail... L. J. Smith used to put out a book on building stairs. You can order the handrail through them. Or I would Google who in your area sells stair parts. You might need a few extra helping hands.. also make the risers tie into the studs of your wall. All the weight is really transferred to the risers.. make sure you use tightbond II wood glue.. it's the best and it will never fail

Man, I had to completely kill the sound after about 2.5 minutes because that obnoxiously repetitive music was driving me nuts! I like the project though.
