That column is stupendous! I’ve never seen anything like it! You certainly found some great bargains. I love the clock, too. It is so beautiful! I have a small battery operated chime clock. My mom has my grandparents’ mantle chime clock. I bought my smaller one because I love the sound of the chimes. I do dread when we change to and from daylight savings time, trying to get it to chime the correct time 😮. It was fun seeing where you placed your new treasures in the same episode and listening to you and Angela discuss your finds. Great video! 🌞🕰️🕰️🕰️

@@MyTakeOnHomeGarden Here's an idea. I think it would be fun to do small tea cart vignettes. You could do this more often than a table for 12. Place the tea cart where you can have a small picture in the background and switch it out for each display. One Idea would be various tea trays. Goodness knows, you have enough tea cups and pitchers. Add a flower in a small vase or lay it down on the napkin. Add a little figurine here and there. Also breakfast trays, lunch trays, patio trays, supper trays, etc. Throw in a checker board for the kids one day. There is no end to the themes you could dream up with the stuff you already have. Wouldn't that be fun?

Wow Jeff, you hit the mother lode! Have never seen a column that even begins to touch yours in beauty and detail. What a buy. The porcelain floral clock is precious and look just perfect on the Hummel cabinet. We think your urn would be simply gorgeous with your gold bronzing technique. I've been collecting old clocks since the early 70's. I would have purchased that Ansonia. I have a couple of Ansonia clocks, but nothing in porcelain. I would probably have picked up a couple of those coo coo clocks, too. I only have one that belonged to my maternal grandparents.
As I'm sure you know, check all your clock keys, you might already have one that will work with your new acquisition. Try to purchase one of those universal clock keys....you'll always be able to wind all your clocks!
And that column is lovely.

Oh Jeff the clock is a gorgeous piece. You should take the clock to a locksmith and see if they don't have a key for it. They are cheaper than a clocksmith. Love everything you got. TC

Loving the clock!! Remember when nearly every home had a clock that took pride of place on a mantle or sideboard. My Grandfather not only had a clock on the sideboard but had a barometer which he tapped every morning. Everything seems to be digital now so cannot understand why some people have such difficulty with military time - it’s just minus twelve!! Am wondering if they still teach children to tell time (on a clock face) in infants school.

I inherited a gorgeous old clock similar to the black one you looked at thats missing a foot. Mind is in perfect condition I wonder what it's worth. Love the column you picked up and that urn is gorgeous and what a deal too. Where I live my favorite antique store is called Hidden Treasures where I just purchased some Uranium glass last week. Your home is full of beautiful antiques too.
