- The Royal Air Force Typhoon Display 2024 Jet aka Moggy put in a Great display at this years Cosford Air show. Flight lieutenant David ‘turbo’ Turnbull gave plenty of afterburner and high energy manoeuvres which thrilled the crowds.

A few white stripes not exactly earth shattering is it. Pathetic it's like go faster stripes on Vauxhall Corsa.

Bit of an idiotic comment from you, don't you think?
Those B/W stripes were used for a reason in WW2 and more specificially for the D-Day landings and the invasion of Europe by the Allied forces. They were used to help differentiate any Allied aircraft so there would be no "friendly fire" incidents.
Likening them to "go faster stripes" is somewhat of an insult for pilots in WW2 flying those aircraft with the stripes.
