I hope he does Ian. It's cool...it was one of them I knew I was going to get 😂. Very unique to Solingen that shape of handle. I know Otter does one very similar. 👊
I know, mate. I feel like I'm getting to know a lot more people in the community that trade/sell also. There are too many knives... not enough funds 😂. 👊
Radar 👋 Mate, I can't believe I nabbed it! When I read up on a forum they only did one Canoe in the series. The FF was suppose to be a bit iffy but I got a good one. 👊
I really enjoyed that thank you! A knife show further north, perhaps even in Sheffield, would really suit me, as I could probably do that there and back in a day. Scottish show is probably a bridge too far as everybody would need a license to sell knives. It’s why you almost never see even Swiss Army knives for sale these days. Oddly though, whilst you may not be able to buy a knife, a hatchet or a full-sized felling axe it’s no problem!
I didn't know that about Scotland, to be honest. I read an article about knife UK show that they ran into a few disgruntled locals about the show. Who actively complained about the show. Due to all the knife crime. Although I'd like to think if those locals attended the show would soon change their perspective. Once they see the talent of the custom makers. The history surrounding Sheffield and knives in general. The outdoors people who use their knives as tools for camping etc. I know Sheffield was a favourite location. Grace Horne was their Eric. And that was my biggest regret. I didn't get chance to talk to her. She was always busy. Cheers Eric
Great haul mate ! You did well , especially as you were late to the party ! It was a fantastic day out with really nice people . I go to a few shows through the year , horticultural and agricultural , and this one is definitely going to be an annual trip ! It was fantastic to meet you and your good lady mate . One thing I wanted to know ........ how did you know it was me ? 🙈
I couldn't tell you 🤯. I just knew. I couldn't find Sean and was looking out for him. I didn't realise I should have been looking up 😂. I'm an awkward sod. And even I felt like we already knew each other 😂. Missed a lot of people that I was gutted about.
It was brilliant. I enjoyed seeing your Case event. I wish we had something like that over here 😁. I think you could have a Case show anywhere in the world, and people would attend. Cheers, mate.
@Dandenongkelly I'm slowly getting into the customs. I looked but didn't handle any as then I'm in trouble 😂. I did a video on a a South Afican collection (Rowlands). And they were amazing. I think some of his came from Congy. Michael Du Plessis was actually there and again missed the chance to talk to him. I take it you're a fan? They are amazing.
Morning brother you know when I said yesterday I was content ? I was talking absolute boll@#&£ 😂😂😂 ,why the he'll didn't I go 🤬,you have some absolute beauties there pal we'll done especially love the gec love the condition of that 😍 (you know I love used and abused) 👊
You know me, Drew, I'm tight. So there were some good bargains there. That GEC is a perfect candidate for a forced patina and maybe a dye job on the bone. That rule knife is a Joseph Westby. I've got a few now from Joseph Westby. 👊
Wonderful bunch of knives, buddy! You did well!
David!! 👋
I loved it, mate. Hope you're doing good? 👊
Great haul! That GEC will make a great user.👍🏻
@norwegiantinkerer Hi mate 👋 I'm enjoying your channel! I think it might make a good candidate for a dye job? 👊
Thank you! Personally I would keep it as is and just remove the rust, oil it and sharpen it. 👍
Nice little haul there buddy!
@retrostu1 Stu!!!!!!!! 👋
Show and canoe....Stu appears. Miss you, mate! 👊
@ haha and what a beaut of a canoe too! Miss you too buddy, hope all is well!!!
@retrostu1 All good here. Not enough hours in the day as usual.
Hope you're all good, mate? Get on discord, we all miss you!
Fantastic haul Steely! Great video...
Cheers, MB. Hopefully, I will be able to watch the live, live tonight. Always looking forward to them, mate! 👊
@ great! And of course we need to fix a time when you can come on!!!
Some nice pieces there, mate. That Jackson Pollock knife really caught my eye. I hope he makes a few more.
I hope he does Ian. It's cool...it was one of them I knew I was going to get 😂.
Very unique to Solingen that shape of handle. I know Otter does one very similar. 👊
Love those Wostenholms and the GEC! Getting a bit concerned that everyone seems to be hoovering up Wostenholms these days!😂🙄
I know, mate. I feel like I'm getting to know a lot more people in the community that trade/sell also. There are too many knives... not enough funds 😂.
👊
Beautiful Queen Canoe! Great haul!!!
Radar 👋

It looks like you picked up some nice ones. Thanks for telling us about the show and showing us what you got. 👍

@ thanks. that would be neat if Case had more events worldwide.
@RadioGeekBlades I think so. Doesn't need the Case representatives, just a load of Case fans and loads of Case knives 😁
Thank you
Cheers brother 👊
great hail and video!
Hi Rich 👋
Did your replacement arrive? 5th for the C section. We have been given a date.
Hope you're doing alright, mate?
@ not year it can be up to 3 weeks to return..I don’t think it will be that long tho..I’m good and that’s great you have a date!!
Thanks for the background on blade show. Some worthy finds. Did you look at any of Congys South African knives?

I got a few Bladebridge knives from Dan, great bloke and high quality work
Sorry for the late reply, mate. I've had a bit of a break from TH-cam.
Dan's such a nice bloke also. I'm really happy with my purchases from him.
@ there was no need to reply I was just reaffirming your comments, and hopefully helping Dan. But thank you for your reply.
