Hebrews 9:27 ' And just as it is appointed for man to die once, then comes judgment.' This totally refutes ANY ideas of reincarnation. Thanks, Melissa.
@DiscipleDave DotCom the second death is clearly a spiritual one. So how come the first one is not? The answer is, it is! We die to our sins, get buried with christ, and raised again with baptism of the Holy Spirit! The second death is to reside in fire for the rest of our eternity. That scripture is not talking about a physical death.
What is interesting is: Some didn't even die once. Enoch and Allijah for example. Also, some died twice, (the ones that were raised from the dead to live again, Alijah raised one, Jesus raised the dead, and also some of the apostles). Scripture doesn't pinpoint exactly the mysteries of God.
Truth! I think we've become obsessed with self. What's your past life? What's your ennegram? What's your mental disorder? What's your sexual orientation? What's your "truth"? YOUR pronouns. Social media devoted to our thoughts or our photos or our tweets. What's on your mind? It's idolatry, its self worship not self help. To me, understanding yourself is simple... we're fallen, our nature is sinful. What we should seek to understand is God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. What he is and why. His attributes.
I’ve been trying to articulate this for the last 2 years, you’ve simply said it best! I’ve been led out of this new age, universal energy ideology, thank God. I’m not even sure I know how it happened, but now the entire house of lies has fallen for me and I can now see things so clearly. New age is a tough nut to crack, I’m just thankful I’ve seen the true light.
Everyone want to know who they are. It is a good thing to ask those questions. Your nature is as God. Psalm 81: Ye are Gods, children of the most high." Believing that you are a low-life puts you in hell because hell is a state of being.
@@ajbryan59 You know that the joke referred to being a 'common person' and not Julius Caesar or something. And you also know that my response reflected the same concept. Really, how pathetic of you to follow such a low path.
@@mypronounismaster4450 Yes, the joke is intended to reveal the con that people are put under hypnosis (an altered state of consciousness where the individual is in a highly suggestible state) and are then led by their "spirit guide" to discover what an amazing past life they had. I have never heard of someone announcing that they had an extremely boring past life. This is what makes it look like the con that it is.
the data shows past life memories of average mundane lives… edit.. im not implying reincarnation is true here, but there is a phenomenon where some people recall someone elses past life
What really sticks out is people creating their own realities to suit themselves or so they can cope. It's in all types of things like relationships, gender, spiritual, financial..etc. Living in self deception.
@@badgerden7080 I could be incorrect in my interpretation of OP’s comment, but I don’t think OP is saying that coping itself is wrong, but that people coping by using these things is what’s wrong/unhealthy. Using any means necessary in order to cope isn’t healthy.
I guess it is just a part of the strong delusion, or end time deception. When man refuses God and his ways. God turns man over to his own ways. A dangerous place to be.
The host just went from one delusion to another (new age spiritualism to Christianity). Alot of the arguments presented also apply to Christianity. If you substitute the word "past lives" with "Christianity", the arguments against it would be the same. So, why is this person, or why is anyone, still a Christian?
@vshah1010 Because God is super impact ful and not vague or partial. The experience with God beyond overjoyed. Then there's this little nugget...An extremely larger percentage of God in human experience and documentation. Past life experiences and PR testimonies are non life changing like when people get saved. And people who bare witness to His glory are having A totally different experience then people who think they used to be someone else.
Melissa, I so appreciate the way you teach. This was so easy to understand and the reasoning sound. praying those who need to hear this will have ears to hear. ~Patty~
@@champchamp4819 if you'd like to know what's on the other side of death, maybe ask the guy who died and came back. Jesus loves you. Search for the truth and God will reveal it to you. Glad to see you on this channel
Actually, judgment is an ongoing process not a static process. For example, a man in 2010 might be a good guy and in 2020 a criminal. The status is updated.
Yes , I have a friend who is a Reiki Practitioner who claims she is the reincarnation of one of the deceased Presidents , when she looks in a window or a mirror she can see his reflection looking back at her as him.
As an ex-new ager, you are 100% correct in your comments. To add an even deeper level to the idea of past lives, it is now seen as “extra” special to have a past life from another planet, extraterrestrial race or dimension.
Fundamentalist Christians, loathe themselves. You can't loathe yourself and love God and others. It is impossible. If you thing very lowly of yourself, then you can't love anything. You can only idolize and resent and judge others and live in fear. Sounds like hell to me. Hell on earth.
Yes. When I was in the new age, doing past life regression therapy, I saw myself as a criminal and child murderer. I could not control what I was saying etc... And it really felt like a different person had taken over. What's bizarre is that I claimed being a Mexican guy but I could only speak English 😑
Demons have knowledge of other people's lives. I kept believing I died in the titanic. I rebuked the spirit and I am relieved of that belief. I know it was demonic
😮 that’s crazy. It’s like when demons appear in your dreams, control the setting and scenario, and talk to you or should I say manipulate you into thinking or doing things that you may find comforting or assuring, but really it’s to get you to sin or get information out of you. They’ll appear to you in the form of one your relatives or someone close to you.. I rebuke them & their faces melt.
They sure know about our lives-family, our generational curses, our future kids. So I don’t doubt that you felt it was a demonic spirit messing with you. Thank God for the blood of Jesus.
this subject is SO IMPORTANT!! 👏🏼 i had a "bible study teacher" who said that though we don't remember what we learned in our past lives, our spirit does 🤦🏽♀ & that the more we believed in reincarnation the more we would remember.. it was all so wild. more & more Christians are believing in Reincarnation & using different terms to teach it. "they've overcome" instead of "they've reached nirvana", "spiritual growth in the tribes" instead of "levels of spirituality" & so on.. so thankful you're teaching on this subject!
Reincarnation is where your talents come from. It is why you may have an instant attraction to someone. It fulfills karma. The last will be first and the first will be last. Reincarnation makes life fair. Without reincarnation, life is very unfailr.
@@PeterProf7777 no, my talents come from God. attraction has nothing to do with karma, which is not in the Bible. reincarnation is the most unfair thing of all - "you didn't do good enough, try again". if reincarnation were true, then Jesus died for nothing.
Thanks for covering this Melissa. Discernment is so important. Galatians 1:8 Even if.....an angel from heaven preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. Love your videos.
Just today at work I was speaking with a lady who believes that she was her mother’s mother in her past life. She fully admits that she and her mom are New Age and have beliefs that don’t always bode well in the south. I got to share some of my own (demonic) experiences with the occult and a story I was writing on this topic. I was pretty honest about my opinions. The subject doesn’t scare me, and I feel comfortable sharing my own thoughts with her without coming off as “dismissive.” I’m so grateful you’ve published this video today! Thank you!!
Melissa, thank you and God bless you for speaking so plainly and honestly about this subject. Part of me is sorry you had to walk through this darkness, but our Sovereign Lord Jesus is using your "past life" (as a non-believer, sorry, couldn't resist) as He did David's and Paul's to shine His light on this deceived generation. You confirmed what I believed from a distant about spirit guides, past lives etc. It pains me to see Christians play with this: teens laughingly saying, "oh, that's my spirit animal!" I think we need to take these topics more seriously!
I must commend your approach to tackling such a complex and often controversial topic through a Christian perspective. It's clear you’ve put genuine thought and care into your exploration, and that’s something truly admirable. You’ve approached this with a sincere heart, and your dedication to aligning your faith with your understanding of the world is something to be respected. It’s not every day you see someone willing to engage with such challenging subjects, and I applaud you for your efforts to bring clarity to your viewers. Furthermore, it’s refreshing to see someone who genuinely wants to bridge the gap between faith and the search for truth. You’ve clearly taken the time to consider these questions deeply, and that’s a rare and valuable quality. Engaging with these topics shows a real commitment to your beliefs and an openness to understanding the world in a more nuanced way. Your dedication to bringing these ideas to light, especially in a way that’s accessible to your audience, is truly commendable. That being said, while your intentions are noble, the execution is-how shall I put this-rather like trying to paint a masterpiece with a sledgehammer. The notion that past life memories are 'accepted unanimously at face value' is not just an oversimplification; it’s a spectacularly misguided take on the actual scientific process. Researchers like Ian Stevenson and Jim Tucker didn’t just collect these accounts as if they were taking attendance at Sunday school-they subjected them to rigorous scrutiny, cross-referencing detailed recollections with historical records, and uncovering facts that a child’s imagination simply couldn’t conjure up. To dismiss this as 'face value acceptance' is to display a level of ignorance that borders on willful-it's like assuming quantum mechanics is just a fancy name for magic because you didn’t bother to read past the first sentence in the textbook. Now, let’s move on to your critique of the 'minimal and unhelpful' nature of these memories. This argument holds about as much water as a sieve. Memory, whether it’s from this life or some previous one, is inherently fragmented and influenced by countless variables. Expecting a clear, cohesive narrative from these recollections is as absurd as expecting to find a pristine fossil of a dinosaur skeleton simply lying around in your backyard. To dismiss these memories because they don’t conveniently provide a full biography is not only lazy; it’s a fundamental misunderstanding of how memory-and indeed, science-works. It’s like whining that you can’t see the whole iceberg because 90% of it is underwater. And then there’s the classic canard about multiple people claiming to be the same historical figure. The fact that this tired, worn-out argument is still trotted out as if it’s a definitive refutation is frankly embarrassing. Human psychology is an intricate web of cognitive biases, shared cultural narratives, and the occasional bout of cryptomnesia. Yes, some people may claim to have been Napoleon, but this does absolutely nothing to discredit the thoroughly documented cases where children have provided verifiable, specific details about past lives-details that are not so easily dismissed with a wave of the hand. To lump these well-researched cases in with every outlandish claim is as scientifically dishonest as dismissing the entire field of genetics because someone got the family tree wrong. But let’s be clear: skepticism is a vital part of science, and it’s entirely reasonable to approach these claims with a healthy dose of doubt. The scientific method thrives on questioning, on probing deeper, and on refusing to accept things without evidence. However, skepticism should not be confused with outright dismissal-especially when there is compelling evidence that deserves serious consideration. If we’re truly committed to understanding the mysteries of consciousness, life, and whatever might come after, we must engage with the evidence critically and objectively. Closing ourselves off to possibilities because they challenge our preconceived notions is not science; it’s dogma in disguise. Let’s aim for a collaboration that respects both the rigor of scientific inquiry and the depth of human experience, acknowledging that the pursuit of truth is enriched when we keep our minds open, but not so open that our brains fall out. After all, true knowledge comes not from rejecting the unknown out of hand, but from exploring it with curiosity and reason. Best regards.
I once had an odd experience (a flash vision of the 1920s while stnding on a street corner). I agee with you that past lives as proglematic. That said, about two months later I inherited material, including newspaper articles I never knew existed regarding my great grandfather. In that I learnd he as a detective made bust at that same location. Soon after that I did some research into DNA related memories. It is not about Karma or past lives. It just provided to me, if accurate, it simply shows the complexities of us as God's creations. It wasn't like I had hat quick unexplained visual based on something I had previously heard or even as if I were seeing it through my own eyes. No, I don't go for the past if elemnet but I think some of the elarging studies in DNA may indeed have something to them. Not to dispue God or Scripture, but to support how God is larger han our expectations. Hope that makes sense based on personal tesimony that only served to sterrengthen my faith as a conservative believer. I hope this experience offers some heep to your explination, and I do not sound like a nut. Let's be a blessing.
Agree - we have DNA memory that produces “you look just like” or “you have your (relative’s) similarities” - we have health or illness passed down through the family, so we have “memories” and recall passed down through DNA.
This is a wonderful explanation! Thanks for sharing. This could also apply to the phenomenon people call “generational curses.” I think it all chalks up to genetic disposition!
Melissa, have you seen Stefani Martina's testimony on TH-cam? It popped up on my timeline so I watched it. INCREDIBLE. She came out of the New Age and has a powerful story.
I was raised Christian and gave me life to the Lord at age 9. Then baptized at 15. Going to many churches over the years. I still became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Now a retired CCHt/CPLT. Years before, I uncovered what seemed to be past life memories, in clients including myself, but learned through extensive research and study that those memories are not the actual memories of a person being regressed. Many people have spirit entities attached to them, bringing the memories of the person or person's they have attached to previously. It's creepy, I know. But proven through regressing people and finding out that the spirit speaking to the therapist is not them! They entered a body that was already possessed with a spirit of their own. It was a wake up call for me to learn this. It's flat out demonic possession. I also know the so called memories are also from tapping into the imagination, including DNA memories. I rededicated myself completely to my Lord Jesus. I thought I had never left him but touching on this slippery slope nearly took me over the edge. Luckily Jesus wasn't about to let me go. His hook was in me pretty tight.
Can you explain more of how you found out the truth. How did you realize that they were possessed? And soes that mean every person has entities on them? Because if you put anyone under hypnosis they always see something. How is it possible that everyone is possessed? Also what are signs you see of possession in someone?
Thank you very much for this video and for making things so clear ! I've been in the new-age during 20 years and I came to the same conclusion as you from minute 16:13 and on. Stay blessed !
No. Because the Bible makes it clear that it is appointed unto men once to die. But after this the judgement Hebrews 9:27. Plus there is also such a thing as familiar spirits. Which seek to kill, steal and destroy. Also experience is not a good measurement for truth. Only the Bible is. GODS WORD IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH. NOTHING ELSE.
Humans have no idea what will happen tomorrow. They can't even tell what's happening behind them right now. Thinking you have 'past lives' is.....cute...
My brother is very lost and believes he's lived a past life; so much so that he has plans to go see a past life regressionist. He is stubborn and will not listen to the truth, so I just pray for him.
Have you checked for drug use? Even the Humanists’ own DSM psychiatry manual says to check for drug use with any psychosis because people confuse reality with fiction. Any combination of neurotoxins or an injured blood-brain barrier can cause psychosis in someone not submitted to God. Pray that any of those influences are broken on his life.
@@GracieDontPlayDat no drug use. Hes just stuck in his ways. He listens to radio shows like Coast to coast a.m. where pretty much all they talk about is aliens, and other dimensions, and paranormal stuff. He believes all of it. He's also a loner so that doesn't help.
Oh gosh. That sounds awful. My uncle is going through something similar. He has never mentioned past lives but he talks about dimensions and aliens. He says that when he sleeps, he travels to another earth and etc. He also, mentioned that he wants to open his third eye which is dangerous. All we can do is pray and pray. What’s his name? I will keep him in my prayers.
Then Yeshua spoke and said: “when you pray, do not Bible like the Gentiles(pagans) Who say in their heart, “by the abundance of our words we will be heard!“, But as for you, do not imitate them, because your father (Abba Tov), knows all of your needs before you ask him. Therefore, this is what you should pray,,, Our Father, Who is in heaven, may Your name be Sanctified. May Your Kingdom come, as Your will is done in Heaven, May also be done on earth. Give us the bread that is our allotment today, and pardon us our debts, as we also have pardoned those indebted to us. And do not bring us into the hands of testing, but rescue us from what is evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, the Majesty and Glory forever and ever! In Yeshua’s Kadosh Name, we say Amen, Amen!
Hello Melissa, thank you for being so thorough on these topics. I was looking for the Christian perspective on past lives. I am a Christian and understand how reincarnation is NOT compatible with it. I just get confused when I see stories online of children who talk about their past lives, have nightmares and come from parents who never believed in reincarnation. After some time goes by the parents do research and find people who actually knew the past person. The child knows information that no one else would know. This is tripping me up. Can you look into those cases?
I can't speak to past lives, but I do have memories of a pre-life. Well, one memory. I remember something like being put to bed, but it was more. There was a purpose. There were two people there, talking me to sleep. I could feel they love they had for me. I could feel their emotions. My next memory was of becoming aware. Not just waking up, but becoming aware for the first time in this physical life. It's hard to explain. But in that moment, I also had my first thought. I was happy and excited and I thought "It worked!" Then I remember I slept a lot, and when I was awake, I heard muffled voices talking. I had no idea what they were saying, but I knew I was "in" somewhere and one day I would come out, which I was super excited for because I wanted to see and experience the things they were talking about. I remember being in the womb. Sure, maybe not. I'm told that we can't form memories that early, but I still remember it. If more people did, I imagine abortion wouldn't be nearly as big an issue as it is.
Who told you we can’t form memories that early? I would think having memories at that point would contribute to development; that’s why talking and singing to a child in the womb is recommended. There is infantile amnesia, however, and maybe that memory survived our usual forgetfulness of that point in life. Sounds like it was a very strong memory!
Such helps build the case against having abortion, the so called mass of tissue in the womb is actually a little baby person already thinking and forming memories.
i’m glad you are investigating this, as am i. past life memories alone are not proof positive of reincarnation, even for the proven true memories, since there are so many other possible explanations for the memories. but your thing about the case where more than one person remembers being the same person is not a counterexample to reincarnation, since there are systems of thought where a single spirit inhabits more than one body at a time. you may not buy that, but can you refute that?
Without having listened to this first, I want to offer an idea: I was discussing this with a friend, and we brought up the topic of generational curses. If patterns of sin can be passed down in our DNA, isn't it possible that memories from "past lives" could be stored in our brains from our ancestors?
Sounds a lot like assassins creed… now, biblically speaking, sin in not passed down in our DNA . That is not biblical at all. We are all sinners but it has nothing to do with our ancestors. God has been clear about that in ezechiel: “the son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son.”
and on another note: wouldn't it also mean that people's being born-in-sin means that it was past along from Adam to us, Genetically? But then doesn't that make sin a PHYSICAL, rather than spiritual thing? Hmm.
@@reba286 Hi reba I wanted to answer to your last message but I can't find it anymore! I guess you deleted it.. and don't worry, I am not english, so I won't blame you if you are not as clear as you want to! =)
Vs…Deut 24:16 ‘sons shall not be put to death for their fathers.’ Read the context: generational curses were for those actively rebelling against God or godless cultures before Christ. No one who accepts Christ as his/her lawyer will be put on trial for his/her sin, never mind one’s family, but evil sure tries to convince the living they are going through a Herculean trial. Be careful of familiar spirits who have watched your family. They are the ones God cursed.
See also, The Riddle of Reincarnation. Walter Martin (book and audio). Audio on TH-cam. Marcia Montenegro has written on the topic. Watchmen Fellowship has some material as well as CRI (articles) If I remember correctly, Elliot Miller addressed it in his book, A Crash Curse on the New Age Movement (Baker) I'm sure you are familiar with these materials, among others. Blessings!
I still wonder, and perhaps will never know-why some are born into huge suffering while others are born into blessings. For example, a crippled child with deformed limbs and confined to a wheelchair, whereas another is born with loving, affluent parents with their whole path paved for them? Thoughts?
To play Devil's Advocate for a moment, we don't know EVERYTHING about death and the afterlife. What if there is a tiny segment of the population who do reincarnate, but only because of strange circumstances. Maybe, ignorance of the Gospel, for example?
Love satire videos what will be the next satire video be about, I hope it's Halloween related, I love Halloween. Best holiday ever!( Christmas is my second favorite.) God bless
No, all it does is prove that demons not only have very good memories but are so cunning that they can make someone think that they are one of the many people the demon has possessed.
@12:52 you mentioned that entering an altered state of consciousness is forbidden by God. Could you give what verses say that? I'm not sure I can actually prove that statement.
How do we know that there are past lives? It's too hard to verify. People may claim "memories" but those could be wishful thinking i,e..they used to be Cleopatra or...believing their musical ability came from a past life. No way to know. I am noticing a BIG SURGE of TH-cam videos on: Reincarnation Near-death experiences spiritualism. They seem to be "coming out of the woodwork" lately. And something (new to me) called a "SOUL CONTRACT". This is apparently life lessons or or a batch of experiences you say or agree that you will accomplish. Question: WHO?- was the first spiritualist to ever mention any soul contract? What is their name? What book, is first to mention the idea of a Soul Contract? What year was that book published? and why is there no Wikipedia listing for this (FROM Wikipedia, not some new age writer) when i search: History of Soul Contract ? One more thing-- Now that Calvinism is getting more criticism, suddenly i come across some new guy on TH-cam, Chris Date, who is "preaching" about Annihilationism. These are all "getting lots of air-time" on TH-cam. Why now? ..and the testimonies from folks about what they saw in their near-death experience-- is getting wilder and more outrageous than it ever was in 1975 when Dr. Raymond Moody wrote Life After Life. Again...why now?
Because people are narcissistic. Baby Boomers created the "Me" generation. This led to Safe Spaces, Wokism, etc. As CS Lewis said, (roughly) that hell would be full of people who said "My will be done." God says "Fine, thy will be done.
@DiscipleDave DotCom God does not inspire memories from past lives that do not exist. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
Yes. It’s called familiar spirits. These are demonic spirits study us from both, that’s how they gain knowledge about us and our families. There has only ever been one of you. Right now. There was not another like you in the past and nor will there be another like you. You are one of a kind made by the hand of God.
It should be noticed that it took til 553A.D. for the church to say reincarnation wasn't a thing and it was actually an idea amongst some different church father and notable Christians. While I am not a believer in it we do need to acknowledge that reincarnation being interconnected with Christianity is not necessarily a thing that solely has come up recently, but was propagated by multiple historic church father even and some of those works may be coming up and influencing aspects of these movements
@@kagomeshuko then it was more specfically acknowledged as being non-christian at a much later date. This is not to say it represents true christianity but how we understand its historical context of when it was more focused on in comparison to other heresies can be important too
It is suspected by some scientists that past lives experiences are really those of our ancestors that have been passed on genetically. It is theorized that there's a great amount of information within our DNA that we cannot decipher as yet and it is this information that can account for these experiences. The trigger that makes these experiences come forth has not yet been determined. This actually makes sense when you study epigenetics and the mind. Each experiencer believes these are their own memories, also others who seem totally unrelated may possibly been a result of quantum entanglement. Oh, and your friend the princess in another life, she's probably a narcissist.
Transfer of information from familiar spirits. Moses confronted Pharaoh, his magicians duplicated the first few miracles/signs but God eventually made the difference and there were things that couldn't be done by the Egyptians. People in general can't be lazy thinkers with an unseen realm.
This is one of the reasons why I didn’t convert to Christianity in the modern times, the lack of deep spiritual understanding about the afterlife. For example, Buddhism explains better the afterlife. Consciousness, Meditation and Interpretation of Dreams can help an individual to remember past lives. The Christian ethical values are great but I do not like the hypocrisy and Stockholm Syndrome scenario in some so-called ‘Christian’ communities.
Life is an illusion "Maya".. Past life memory is also an illusion of your senses... It's illusion of your mind "the senses" that creates matter... Everything is maya... Beyond Maya all is one & one is all...
Huh, reflecting on my childhood it really was so that the churches followed the first one. Women like nuns and other where tending to flowers, sweeping and I didn't give it much thought even though I've seen on TV some American churches with female-priests. In my lifetime it was never true about the teaching though, but I guess that might be due to the fact that for over a century unlike centurries ago the job of a teacher is not of a high regard.
What is your opinion about the work of Jim Tucker at the department of perceptual studies at the University of Virginia concerning western cases of claimed reincarnation?
I am so confused, if anyone can help please: Christianity is refusing reincarnation, astrology is bad and occult, at the same time it is basing as well on Old Testament, which is part of Jewish sacred texts. And Judaism includes Kabbalah/Zohar, which tells about reincarnation and they use Astrology. And how Kabbalah is not occult? Please explain 🙏🏻
13:00 Christianity needs to be a growing & committed relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus, the only son of God that died for us as a sinless sacrifice. As you say, anyone who "cherry picks" scripture that they like & leaves out the rest (as new agers, etc. do) needs to be held accountable for their error. We Christians need to be very committed & vocal, as well as stable in mind & emotions, to speaking the whole Word of Truth & living it in our daily thoughts, words, decisions, actions - always. Strength & stability comes from unity of the Truth of living God's Word out in our daily lives.
Ppl like using their experiences and the experiences of others as evidence.. God says we cannot lean on our own understandings, demons and the flesh deceive the only one we must listen to with no compromise is God
I see, so ultimately the experiences themselves are unbiblical and a lie because of that, yet the people who are committed to believing otherwise are liable to come under demonic influence… 🤔🧐 Gotta say, this seems to line up with the “why yoga is actually demonic” perspective from people who converted to Christianity from yoga a few years ago, but now the question is how to interact with people who’re under these types of spirits in the future 🧐🤔
Another thing that I don't understand with the belief in reincarnation: It's about the number of the "souls": Is there a specific number of souls from the beginning of the universe that has to get to Nirvana? Because if yes: Then the number would decrease because after a while many of the souls get to Nirvana and are not on earth anymore - and so the number of creatures on the earth would become less and less after some time. Or would there be new souls be born from time to time? But then there would never be a final Nirvana where everyone will be because there are always souls on earth which are not yet in Nirvana. Is every child who is born a reincarnation or are there many new souls which are born? Then there would be so many creatures on earth which are not yet in Nirvana that the earth would be more than full... Who decides if the child is a new soul or a reincarnation? Buddha? The child itself? The universe? In my opinion this is not logical.
Melissa said reincarnation would be unfair because the person cannot remember ‘important’ details about their past lives. However it can seem equally unfair that people are expected to follow a 2000+ year old religion that requires many different intellectuals and people to help understand and interpret… AND they are expected to find, understand and discern all of this truth in 1 life time or there will be ultimate punishment!
You don't need different intellectuals and people to help understand and interpret the Bible. When you are saved you are filled with the Holy Spirit - and when that happens, when you read the Bible it becomes a Living Word. This is difficult to understand from the outside looking in, but it is very real and true. The Bible speaks to me every day, and can show me something different every time I read the same passage over at a different time. It is a truly incredible, individual and undeniable spiritual experience. I hope one day you get to experience it. May Gods love shine on you.

Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, was resurrected, not reincarnated. The most glaring example that proves the death knell for reincarnation.
Reincarnation or vivid memories of another life, usually, some real person who actually lived...is called "carrying each other's burdens" God is responsible in giving the burdens of others to people who's spirit is open and accepting to it. Those people are usually children. The memories they have of the past life is usually at the moment of death such as when a plane crashed or a ship sank. They will also have vivid memories of the person's Family members. The burden bearers will often cry and express extreme sadness or fear when think of the past life. These memories are intense and have to be expressed.
Hi melissa....reincarnation cannot exist if they say to john the baptist are you elijah on this john said no.....elijah never died so he never can incarnate.....
Hebrews 9:27 ' And just as it is appointed for man to die once, then comes judgment.' This totally refutes ANY ideas of reincarnation. Thanks, Melissa.
Exactly!
@DiscipleDave DotCom I wasn't replying to you, but the main comment ^•^
Your today's flesh body can only die once, that's no wrong. When your soul into another human body, that peron can only die once, too.
Amen
I’ve been trying to articulate this for the last 2 years, you’ve simply said it best! I’ve been led out of this new age, universal energy ideology, thank God. I’m not even sure I know how it happened, but now the entire house of lies has fallen for me and I can now see things so clearly. New age is a tough nut to crack, I’m just thankful I’ve seen the true light.
Your comment is perfectly worded. I'm stealing from it! LOL! I hope the Lord blesses you today.
Everyone want to know who they are. It is a good thing to ask those questions. Your nature is as God.

I remember a comedian who as part of his routine asked this question, "Why isn't anyone's past life a plumber from Des Moines?"
He must not have looked into actual data before he wrote that joke.
@@mypronounismaster4450 So is there an individual whose past life is a plumber from Des Moines, and if so could you provide a source?
@@ajbryan59
You know that the joke referred to being a 'common person' and not Julius Caesar or something.

Actually, judgment is an ongoing process not a static process. For example, a man in 2010 might be a good guy and in 2020 a criminal. The status is updated.

That's why you will keep reincarnating again
this subject is SO IMPORTANT!!

Funny how the person who does the regression is so eager to have the person come back for more sessions to learn more.

Agree - we have DNA memory that produces “you look just like” or “you have your (relative’s) similarities” - we have health or illness passed down through the family, so we have “memories” and recall passed down through DNA.

@DiscipleDave DotCom the same symptoms can be the results of different causes
@DiscipleDave DotCom so your saying all 7 billion people have reincarnation symptoms? Also how do you know the demon count?
@DiscipleDave DotCom how did you come up with this number of demons? There are way more spiritual beings than there are humans!
This did get creepy at the spirit guide level. I really love your channel.
Could you please explain more on DNA memories and where you found this info?
What made you realize that they are possessed? Or are you just lying?

Hello Melissa, thank you for being so thorough on these topics. I was looking for the Christian perspective on past lives. I am a Christian and understand how reincarnation is NOT compatible with it. I just get confused when I see stories online of children who talk about their past lives, have nightmares and come from parents who never believed in reincarnation. After some time goes by the parents do research and find people who actually knew the past person. The child knows information that no one else would know. This is tripping me up. Can you look into those cases?
I agree with you.
Yes these are cases that I’ve been seeing too. And this is exactly the cases I would like to have an answer for.
Unborn babies can hear. Proven by newborns who calm down when they hear their father’s voices. 😊
I swear I have a memory of being in the womb and kicking my mom.
Could it be fake? Sure. Could it be real? Sure.
I don't know. 🤷♀️
Such helps build the case against having abortion, the so called mass of tissue in the womb is actually a little baby person already thinking and forming memories.
I miss you. Great job
i’m glad you are investigating this, as am i. past life memories alone are not proof positive of reincarnation, even for the proven true memories, since there are so many other possible explanations for the memories. but your thing about the case where more than one person remembers being the same person is not a counterexample to reincarnation, since there are systems of thought where a single spirit inhabits more than one body at a time. you may not buy that, but can you refute that?
Without having listened to this first, I want to offer an idea: I was discussing this with a friend, and we brought up the topic of generational curses. If patterns of sin can be passed down in our DNA, isn't it possible that memories from "past lives" could be stored in our brains from our ancestors?
The first thing I thought: "Interesting take!"
The second one: "Assassin's Creed O. O"
Hmm.

Near-death experiences
spiritualism. They seem to be "coming out of the woodwork" lately.

One more thing--
Now that Calvinism is getting more criticism, suddenly i come across some new guy on TH-cam, Chris Date, who is "preaching" about Annihilationism.

None of this is true. Past lives don't exist. Demons don't exist. God does not exist.
Hi Melissa! I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Greek Orthodox church
Except it didn't.
@@kagomeshuko then it was more specfically acknowledged as being non-christian at a much later date. This is not to say it represents true christianity but how we understand its historical context of when it was more focused on in comparison to other heresies can be important too
Wow! Great video!
Great message as always
Great points!
1Cor14:33-35 & 1Tim2:11-15 what's the Christian response to these scriptures?
Huh, reflecting on my childhood it really was so that the churches followed the first one. Women like nuns and other where tending to flowers, sweeping and I didn't give it much thought even though I've seen on TV some American churches with female-priests. In my lifetime it was never true about the teaching though, but I guess that might be due to the fact that for over a century unlike centurries ago the job of a teacher is not of a high regard.
thank you for this!
What is your opinion about the work of Jim Tucker at the department of perceptual studies at the University of Virginia concerning western cases of claimed reincarnation?
Yes! Reincarnation has been proven through research from case studies at the UV. No other replies?
I am so confused, if anyone can help please: Christianity is refusing reincarnation, astrology is bad and occult, at the same time it is basing as well on Old Testament, which is part of Jewish sacred texts. And Judaism includes Kabbalah/Zohar, which tells about reincarnation and they use Astrology. And how Kabbalah is not occult? Please explain 🙏🏻
Great video thanks😊
You are correct!
Holy crap... what do you think about creating your own subliminals to listen to under music? Still navigating out of the new age.
Past lives is the new magic.
Very few people actually remember their past lives, usually it happens due to regression
Ppl like using their experiences and the experiences of others as evidence.. God says we cannot lean on our own understandings, demons and the flesh deceive the only one we must listen to with no compromise is God
I know someone that thinks his dreams are memories from past lives..
I would not be surprised to find that some of this is demonically inspired.
I see, so ultimately the experiences themselves are unbiblical and a lie because of that, yet the people who are committed to believing otherwise are liable to come under demonic influence… 🤔🧐
Gotta say, this seems to line up with the “why yoga is actually demonic” perspective from people who converted to Christianity from yoga a few years ago, but now the question is how to interact with people who’re under these types of spirits in the future 🧐🤔
Great video !! 💪🏾
Once to die and after that, the judgement.
Another thing that I don't understand with the belief in reincarnation:
It's about the number of the "souls":
Is there a specific number of souls from the beginning of the universe that has to get to Nirvana?
I have seen so many videos about past life and they have shown proofs. I really don't know what I should take.
If you want truth start a biblical cosmology.
What about cases where they are confirmed ect, ie children.
I always wondered if you die and go to heaven that your are given the option to go live on earth again, not saying that happens i just wondered.

Whos a good person to listen to? My daughters doing reiki..or goinv to reiki healer...had crystals and is lucid dreaming and astral projecting without trying...she says its scary but intriguing..
Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, was resurrected, not reincarnated. The most glaring example that proves the death knell for reincarnation.
Please watch end time message the message of God for this last generation
Reincarnation or vivid memories of another life, usually, some real person who actually lived...is called "carrying each other's burdens" God is responsible in giving the burdens of others to people who's spirit is open and accepting to it. Those people are usually children. The memories they have of the past life is usually at the moment of death such as when a plane crashed or a ship sank. They will also have vivid memories of the person's Family members. The burden bearers will often cry and express extreme sadness or fear when think of the past life. These memories are intense and have to be expressed.
So true.
Hi melissa....reincarnation cannot exist if they say to john the baptist are you elijah on this john said no.....elijah never died so he never can incarnate.....
