It is so nice to watch your vlogs Marisa. I hope you are feeling better. Your Christmas tree is beautifully decorated, the renovations of the Cantina are getting along well and the choice of the tiles was perfect. About David’s residence permit in Italy and his citizenship I would like to tell you that couple of Americans who live in London and wanted to spend a lot of time on Greece finally got the Visa D! And now they enjoy their stay in my country. Have you heard about it ? Might be a temporary solution for David in the meantime until he gets the Italian, citizenship. Have a nice time and do take care of yourself. Look forward to your next video! Thanks.❤❤❤
Ciao Katerina and thank you so much for all your lovely comments and compliments. We haven't heard of that Visa but in all honesty, this is just the start of our journey for any type of immigration, so It's a learning process for us. We will definitely look into that to see what it is. There are solutions, we are already aware of, once we are ready to stay there permanently but for now, we must share our time between the 2 countries. Take care too Katerina and see you next time...big hugs 🥰🤗😘💖
Dear Marisa about D Visa this is what I have been informed about Italy as well. “ An Italy long- stay visa is known as a D Visa. This is the type of a Visa you have to apply if you want to stay in Italy longer than 90 days. This Visa might help David until he gets the Italian citizenship I hope this information will be some kind of help for you.

you know you have to wait 2 years to apply and then after 4 years they will give you nationality they say enter 4 years you can get nationality, but prepare your mind that may be the end or fourth year you can.I took my nationality in 3 years and 7 months. Good luck with your future.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. That's absolutely fine, as we are willing to wait and can live there in the meantime, if we wish, as I am Italian so when we are ready we will apply for the Permesso di soggiorno for my husband. In every country where you apply for citizenship or residency, you have to wait, so we aren't impatient. Thanks so much for watching! Best wishes 🥰🤗😘💖
That massive highway running past your house can't be that healthy. Good luck with Italian beaurocracy you're going to need it. I did warn you a few months ago about your living arrangements. Residence in Italy is different to citizenship as I have already mentioned before.
@@relocatetoEUROPE we don’t actually live on a highway but it’s a normal busy suburban street here in Sydney. I’ve never lived here before but we are caring for my elderly mother here so we are here whilst in Sydney. We’re not too bothered as we will become residents once we can move to Italy permanently and as I’m Italian, we have been given instructions by the consulate on how to go about it. One step at a time. I’ve lived in Europe for many years and understand what the bureaucracy is like so I’m prepared and we are not going to stress about it. Things always work out in the end. 🥰🙏🏼

Please try the chia seed puddings and risotto… they are both delizioso 😋 I hope you have fun putting up your tree this weekend! It’s a big job but so satisfying and enjoyable. We love watch it twinkle ✨ and it makes me happy! The cantina has caused us a little stress which I’ll share next vlog but it is coming along well and we are so happy with the finishes. I can’t wait to decorate! Have a wonderful weekend carissima…alla prossima 😍💖💐🥰✨😘
you know you have to wait 2 years to apply and then after 4 years they will give you nationality they say enter 4 years you can get nationality, but prepare your mind that may be the end or fourth year you can.I took my nationality in 3 years and 7 months.
What is the story of your relationship / love story ?
You mentioned that you e been together 3 years but not married ?
You seem like you have such a good rapport, just curious 🙂
@@kst7347 oh you must watch our last big Q&A as we tell the entire story but we basically met online a week before the pandemic lockdown in Australia and moved in together straight after lockdown lifted. We married last year in Tuscany and we are totally smitten with each other! 😍💖🥰
