I'm from Houston and I remember when HPD drove this style of patrol car. My son plays GTA and I'll show him this tomorrow. Thanks for dedicating this to Sgt. Preston-my friend's brother graduated in the same academy class as Sgt. Preston. I liked those sky blue shirts that HPD wore for many years-wish they had stayed with those instead of going to the dark blue shirts a few years ago-very realistic!

You asked about the Harris County uniform and patrol vehicle. Its pretty dark but our badge is the 7 point star. Also we had no lapel mics for our huge radios back then and nobody wore tasers obviously. On the patrol car I would try and make the circled 911 emblem a little smaller and I could not see the back but "SHERIFF DEPARTMENT" is written on the back. Most of our cars had what we called a "dashmaster" on the front dashboard. It was a red and blue strobe light and the over head lightbar needs to be red/blue, the one you have on scene is all blue which is what they use in northern eastern united states such as Chicago PD. Also you did excellent including the MDT's Houston Police had in their patrol cars back then. I couldnt see one in the unit you were driving but I did see it in one of the other patrol units. It was called the MDT-9100, we got ours at Harris County in the early 90's with the 91 Caprice Classic, real good job doing that. The Houston Fire/EMS guys wear blue pants and a blue shirt with red patches. The ambulance they drive is a square box style that is all white with a red stripe wrapped around the vehicle. Again, you did an excellent job.
