As a neurobiology student I love seeing their interpretation of actual scientific tests and experimental data! The test they're referencing is called "Reading the mind and the eyes" test and it's usually used as a measure for theory of mind (which just means the concept of you as your own person with your own thoughts, and the understanding that other people are separate and have their own thoughts), or cognitive empathy. Idk if this would stand up in trials but it's really fun to watch you guys experiment anyway - thanks for the episode!
