@@AtlasAnimationXzX I have, like in the armoury set, the only figs that don’t open are the iron man legion, the avenger game one, the comic sets and the mechs, literally every other helmet opens
I am very surprised they didn't pull a batman, and just but a white/blueish band on his head to similate the eyes of the mask, that can be covered with a hair piece.
There was literally no reason to change the original helmet that opened up. Out of all the pieces Lego has kept the same over the years I wish it was that one.
Now that I'm an adult and getting back into Lego, I'm so glad I kept all my minifigs but gave away all the Lego pieces to younger cousins. I still have my Iron Man with the helmet that opens. It came with the Iron Man and Mandarin set.
Sometimes you have to remember that Lego is a company just like any other, and sometimes they try to cut costs by making simpler, cheaper, and easier to make products.
I agree that the newer helmet is good for more complicated faceplate designs, but im still not used to it. Since day one of its debut, it just looks too much like a Lego knockoff helmet XD
Are used to collect the ones from 2012 and 2013 is that the biggest pain about them is that they broke super easily due to the plastic being moulded incorrectly
The newer one is good, but it only looks good on the Nano suits, the older one (the one that can open too not the old-old one) looks good on all (except Nanosuits in my opinion)
I have 2019-2022 hulk busters 😞the new and then I remeber when lego mechs used to be 10-50 dollars now its just 15-90 and the new mechs🤢🤮vs old mechs 🤠.The only good ones are thw old mech and new ninjago mechs

The printed head makes me think nano-tech or techno-organic armor.
Makes sense, since it's based on the Bleeding Edge armor.

The old helmet looked so good, it even looked more like custom Lego parts than actual Lego.
For the armor used as the first mini-fig. It works because a helmet would look too bulky for that armor design (bleeding edge)

The Batman mold was made when they made the clone helmets like that as well. I think Lego wants to move away from that sort of design, unfortunately
