8. Ezra 3:7-13

At long last, the foundation for God's temple was laid. Upon its completion, the people had different reactions - some wept as they knew it would never match the first temple in grandeur - while others rejoiced as they realized worship to the true God was back among the people of God. The foundation has also been laid for our faith - none other that Jesus Himself (1 Corinthians 3:11). Now there's reason to rejoice!
