Playing Trumpet Above Double High C Lesson #3

I feel like I'm lifting a 500 pound weight just trying to get up to the first C above the staff. I can't fathom how people go past that and sound so effortless. I've been a brass player for three decades now (mostly low brass.)

If you really want to play up in that range you can. But you half to really want to do it for what ever reason. 99 percent of the time you are better off putting you time into practicing other things as you know. I will be putting my time into practicing other things myself in the future. Thank you for writing.
