Finally, a craft person that does an easy craft but great results. Some of the other crafters think "oh only $20.00 to make". The whole idea of crafting, other than selling, is to make nice items for you and family. This project is perfect.
Agree 100%. I turn off videos with much chit chat and... really... if a presenter’s jokes were all that funny, we’d be watching them in something other than a video for beautiful crafts/sewing/quilting, etc. I want to see your crafts and your art work. Keep doing what you do so well!!!
I so agree - Her projects are well done and not tacky like so many we see on TH-cam - She has a sense of design and I love her matter-of-fact approach - I will try this!!!
This is a great idea. I made 2 Fall ones. I used pasta sauce jars that had a nice straight shape. Used Modpodge, glitter and hairspray. Worked very well. Tied acorns and fall leaves to the jute bow. I had these fake candles where the flame was supposed to move and look realistic but they do not look very good. So I put those in the jars. Looks beautiful. Thank you for this terrific idea.
Jodie, I admire your creativity. Your crafts are pleasing to the eye, and easy to make. Your instructions are clear, and easy to follow. I also appreciate your calm manner. No yellling, no screaming, no dancing or showing off. Thanks
I love you delivery-- not loud, no nervous chatter. The project is delightful. Lots of people have Pyramidal Arborvitae -- these Christmas-tree shaped shrubs as part of their landscaping.
This is such a wonderful craft !! I LOVE IT ! I have a big hurricane vase (about 12" tall and 10" wide) I bought at the dollar tree 12 years ago lol.... I think it would look amazing as a centerpiece decorated like you've done to these, Love your idea's and as always thank you for sharing
I agree with the previous comment totally. I love this project, but then again I love all your projects. Thanks again for sharing and have a Great day...
I can’t believe that this video popped up this afternoon . It is October 8,2023 ! I watch all your videos as well as your daughters , since I discovered your channel a few months ago , may be March ! I have never ever seen a jar like that ! At a high school class get together last year , the tables each had a mason jar with fairy lights and pieces of the gold strips that are usually put on Christmas trees ( name evades me ), inside . The top of the lids were decorated . It was amazing . Your idea is also great . I would use battery operated tea lights . Two/$1 at the Dollar tree ! So glad an oldie video popped up!
Hello, I am a new subscriber. So glad I found you. I absolutely love this Idea!!! I also like the way you do your videos. Straightforward, great tips, with no added unnecessary chatter. I look forward to more of your fabulous ideas. I just bought a case of mason jars for an idea that didn't work out.. Now I have a better way to use them. This idea will work on other projects I do as well so thank you very much. Be well.
They are lovely you did a great job, easy, quick and beautiful. Thanks for sharing and for the tips on how to use the glitters without a mess using the hair spray. Awesome idea. 😍🎄🎅🎄
These are so so so adorable! I’m going to have to see if I can find some mason jars to do something similar to these! Thank you for sharing this inspiration with us!
Those are so cute, they'd make a neat gift,I'm thinking you could use fall, spring, even summery stuff to make seasonal gifts.Thank you for sharing, what a great idea!⚓❤
I bought this e long time ago and never did anything with them! Thank you for the inspiration. I’m going to make them today! Sometimes we just need a little shove to diy! 💜
Oh, Wow, Jody, this is such a cute craft idea for me to do with my 5 year old Granddaughter for a Christmas Centerpiece. I will work the hot glue gun, but she can help me with putting the strings together, etc. Thanks again. Now that I found your TH-cam's, I'm hooked and will be watching for more ideas.
Just a suggestion, but l find that it’s easier to spread Mod Podge with a foam brush. They are very inexpensive & you can wash out & reuse or if they get grungy just chunk them. I think l got 20 for a dollar at Michael’s one year. Any size works - just match them to the size of the project. There are no streaks because it goes on so smoothly. 🤗❤️👍🌨🎄
I am excited to have found all of these you tube video's showing us how to use Dollar Tree to decorate. Yee Hah !!! My kind of decorating … Those are beautiful btw-
I absolutely LOVE the way this turned out. I am starting a weeks long sereis on farmhouse style christmas Videos this week and i cant wait to show it off to you guys. Great work. Ramon @ Home
OMG those are sooooooo beyond adorable I LOVE them!!! What a fantastic idea - I'm so glad I happened across your video!!! ^_^ This gives me fantastic ideas for the upcoming holidays - thank you so much for posting this video!!!
These would be adorable table decor pieces with some of the little Dollar Tree churches between them at a Church luncheon and then give them out afterwards as door prizes.
These are darling, I tried something similar once using Epsom salts, it didn’t turn out well at all. I used the larger pieces, I didn’t know it came two different ways. I’m definitely going to purchase this glitter, and the jars if I can find them. Thank you so much for sharing your creation!! Absolutely beautiful!
Neat idea, simple to follow without superfluous jibber-jabber found in so many crat videos. I've got a couple of similar jars so I now know what to do with them.
Finally, a craft person that does an easy craft but great results. Some of the other crafters think "oh only $20.00 to make". The whole idea of crafting, other than selling, is to make nice items for you and family. This project is perfect.
Thank you so much and thanks for watching. Yes I agree. I try to make them affordable for everyone. ❄🎄⛄

Agree 100%. I turn off videos with much chit chat and... really... if a presenter’s jokes were all that funny, we’d be watching them in something other than a video for beautiful crafts/sewing/quilting, etc. I want to see your crafts and your art work. Keep doing what you do so well!!!
Same appreciation.
Sandy Taylor I completely agree. I can’t stand the blah blah blah either.
I so agree - Her projects are well done and not tacky like so many we see on TH-cam - She has a sense of design and I love her matter-of-fact approach - I will try this!!!

Hairspray over glitter to hold it in place - THANK YOU! I can now re-introduce glitter into my crafting life after a 20 year hiatus!
Lol Yes I love the look of glitter but it sure is messy work. Thanks for watching. 😃🎄⛄

Thank you so much!!! 🎄⛄🎄
Lol. Makes me wonder what people are thinking when they thumbs down undoubtedly wonderful videos!😄💞
Just goes to show there are 94 jerks out there LOL
How do you hem a prom dresses that the hem is attached to the lining
You will need a seam ripper and take them apart and hem them both. I know it's a pain when they are attached.
DeDe Ridiculous, isn't it?
What are they thinkin to give thumbs down to such a beautiful idea??? Ignore them.
The little red balls you could not remember are from the holly plant
Also you can use tea lights that are flameless
Yes that you be the best bet. Real tealights will heat up the hot glue on the lid
So simple and so beautiful
Thank you so much 😊
Absolutely adorable
Thank you so much and thanks for watching. 🙂
That's darling
Thank you so much!! 😃🎄
the greens are Juniper or. Cedar.
Thank you so much and thanks for watching. 😃🎄⛄
I believe the berries are from a nandina bush. ♥️
Thank you and thanks for watching. ❄⛄🎄
juniper bushes look very similar, no red berries tho.. frosted bluish green berries tho.. still could work .. : )

So festive! Did you use electric tea lights or live tea light?
Thank you so much. I used a live tea light for the video because it shows up better on camera. I do use battery candles in it because of my birds. 🎄⛄❄
Adorable candle holder.
