I think the grapple is probably the most balanced mobility item we’ve had in like a whole year, I think in comp if they gave it like 10 uses it be even more balanced
Regarding the sniper glare, it kinda seems odd that only weapons with a 4x-zoom have this. Even ARs with a 4x-scope share this feature. So I would really appreciate it, if they added a glare for sniper scopes of all kind and removed it for 4x-ARs.
Honestly, the hammer pump shotgun is just horrendous, it’s terribly inconsistent and deals almost no damage at times, i’ve been hitting consistent 30’s and 40’s with this shotgun, they should really buff the base damage to balance out the auto shotgun and the hammer pump.
The hammer pump isnt inconsistent its just that you get punished extremely harshly for not having perfect aim. But I do think they should try to make it a bit better bc hitting 30 damage 3x in a row is frustrating even if it kinda ur own fault
It’s not inconsistent, its spread is just really tight. It feels more or less like a Striker Pump 2.0 in a way, and it’s damage is nowhere near as forgiving as other shotguns. I hate to say it, but it’s honestly a skill issue.

With the grapple blade you can animation cancel it by just before you are in the max distance you can go with the grapple you switch to your shotgun or any weapon/pickaxe and that way you animation cancel it bcs the grapple blade lets you swap weapons
Grapple Blade has a niche in the tower meta, funnily enough. Players will sometimes stakatakastakataka high up in a tower to escape you, and then you can grapple up to the top of their tower and send them flying with the blade part of the grapple blade, making them fall. Due to how hillly this map gets, I've had quite a few kills from fall damage and a sneaky grapple up to the top of a tower
the grapple blade attack does a surprising amount of damage and lowers visual clarity a lot + knockback but using it solo without a second person jumping in the same box its pretty eh
i feel like what some people dont realize for ZB and ballistic shields is that grapple blade completely makes it useless. Ive found this out many times in ranked, seeing someone try to get my at a distance w/ ballistic, and then i just slap them with the blade and free kill basically ig tho it comes down to like using it properly, if someone has grapple and u have shield, try not to get close if someone tries to grapple towards you, switch cause youll be in an loop of getting stunned till you die

For a counter to the mythic striker ar, I think If they're spraying to get in ur wall. You place builds a couple times, then just let them in and shoot them with ur shotgun

Correction: when Medallions were nerfed, Nisha's Striker AR (and all other Striker ARS) got a nerf by 2 damage, (Nisha's does 234.9 DPS after the nerf)
Imo fortnite is not built for projecte based ARs and SMGs because movement in FN is very dynamic, where you can change direction at a glance both vertically and horizontally, which makes projectile very difficult to use compared to warzone or pubg where movement is more linear so to speak. It's probably been done for balancing, but I feel like it would be a better choice to simply increase dmg fall-of and the rate of said fall-off based on the attachments you have rather than rework the shooting mechanics entirely. They could at least test it or make it so the DPS is not so high, which brings me to the fact that it is quite baffling that to this day, there is no PBE.
I haven’t watched the whole video yet but the worst thing about the loot system is how rare a grappler is, it completely changes how u play the game and fighting someone with 1 when u dont have 1 just makes u wastes so much more mats than normal since they can just use it to force a 50/50 shot at height or force u to box up if u not confident in the shot inwhich point now they get height, sure sometimes u can beam them if thsy use it incorrectly but thats kinda rare in unreal lobbies. It makes rotation a none factor esp end game u can go front side in seconds inbetween builds so ur not wasting mata tunneling its so game changing for how rare it is because it gives a disadvantage to whoever doesnt have it
Just wanted to say great vid, and that there is a great drop spot near lavish lair at the train station, if you go to the house-like building (the one not right next to the tracks) and if you break the left wall on the second floor above the roof on the 2x2 ground floor only section, once in, break the white crate for a guaranteed rare chest, either loot rest of house by opening door in room and breaking wardrobe on other side to get to other areas or go to the main building by the tracks and kill the ai which is just a normal society enemy (can kill with one mag) then pick up key card, take it to the vault, shown by card or found in the foundations at the side to left when looking at the tracks from the car park, scan the key card for 2 ordinary chests and one rare chest with about same amount of gold in a boss vault. Edits for grammar and more clarity.

Honest opinion chapter 5 season 1 loot pool in both pubs & ranked . I think at this current time is boring & not skilful, snipers are incredibly overpowered especially in zero build & builds, when i hit a head shot i dont even enjoy sniper kills after 2 weeks of play.anymore. new changes for weapons like AR & smgs are no longer hit scan. I'm not a fan of, i was so used to trying to control bloom & my muscle memory is still coming to terms, that i just have to predict where my enemies move to especially in the air etc. Hopefully next season the lootpool improves, i now work a 9 to 5 so my play time on fortnite is not so frequent compared to past chapters & seasons. So now im not so compepetive anymore.
If I'm being honest I put myself in more danger with cluster clingars then the enemy I'm throwing them at. Tho if you're sneaky enough and there's enemies in the vault you can throw a few of em and clear the whole thing.
I think a "competitive" loot pool should consist of 3-4 AR/Shotgun/SMG variants, 2 snipers, maybe some pistols, basic white/blue heals, fish, and the occasional grenade and explosive. Restrict it to Rare - Epic - Legendary weapons with Rare being the more common variant of the three. Perhaps the Chapter 1/2 weapons? I dunno.
Medallions were nerfed way too much. They aren't worth taking at all. The simply give away your position. Me and my friends always keep the mythic and drop the medallion after opening the vault, having it just gets you constantly 3rd partied after every fight in ranked.
Yup. I never carry them due to how much they give away your position. The third parties are already bad enough. Especially if you have more than one. I'm a pretty average player, but often catch the medallion player off guard, because it was super easy to predict where they would crest a hill or turn a corner. Had a player with 5 at end game and it was such an easy kill because I always knew exactly where they were. A Striker AR can eliminate you in a second. If I can get the jump on you because I know your position, no amount of medallion healing will make a difference.

I personally prefer the nemesis ar and I feel it is underrated. The striker ar has too much kick for me as a low sense controller player, and the nemesis feels like almost hitscan in comparison.
The striker literally has faster bullet velocity and less bullet drop and significantly more damage. The legendary nemesis has less dps than a grey striker. It also has more kick per bullet so I have no idea what you're talking about.
higher kick per bullet still feels less due to its slower fire rate and it can feel better due to its higher damage per shot, and generally has much better bloom without a scope if you find floor loot ones, and less capped recoil :)
You didn't mention this and i have no clue if people know the only scope to give glare is the 4x so the 2x is a great scope for mid range (dmr like) but if you don't like that scope then use 1.3x holo
I think they should buff the others ARs, Enforcer in particular, because is just a different version of the Nemesis, it should have a mix of slower fire rate and higher dmg with little dmg fall off at longer distances
The snipers are the bane of my existence, but not because I get destroyed by them constantly. Most groups now turn into "How can we get the most snipers?" It becomes people's entire identity and the game ends up revolving around them. Then while traveling in a car, someone will stop us 300m away because they saw a tiny spec of a player in the distance. Then the sit in one spot and peak snipe battle from 8,000 meters away starts; imo the LEAST fun gameplay in Fortnite. Those without snipers sit there twiddling their thumbs, doing nothing. The sniping in one spot continues for minutes, often eventually leading to three outcomes: - One player takes multiple snipes, depleting all of your heals, because they are attracted to peaking sniper glint like a moth to a flame. - The sniping continues endlessly with players thirsting for long range elims that will likely have little to no affect on the game. Because sniping is their existence, they ignore all calls to move into the circle, resulting in last second rotations and often dying to storm. Cherry on top if the sniper who rotates late also carries zero mobility. - And the most common outcome: We get sniped or third partied from behind then the snipers complain about how we get third partied so often, failing to realize they are the reason. /end sniper rant, lol

I have a clip/ short were if I'm correct, the graple blade goes 80 ish damage which is kinda broken since you can confuse the opponents

I think the sniper just needs a bullet speed nerf that’s it. It feel so snappy and good. But it’s so much easier to just snipe someone over just shooting them with an ar and I think a bullet speed nerf would change thst

I personally prefer the nemesis ar and I feel it is underrated. The striker ar has too much kick for me as a low sense controller player, and the nemesis feels like almost hitscan in comparison.
The striker literally has faster bullet velocity and less bullet drop and significantly more damage. The legendary nemesis has less dps than a grey striker. It also has more kick per bullet so I have no idea what you're talking about.
higher kick per bullet still feels less due to its slower fire rate and it can feel better due to its higher damage per shot, and generally has much better bloom without a scope if you find floor loot ones, and less capped recoil :)
You didn't mention this and i have no clue if people know the only scope to give glare is the 4x so the 2x is a great scope for mid range (dmr like) but if you don't like that scope then use 1.3x holo

I think they should buff the others ARs, Enforcer in particular, because is just a different version of the Nemesis, it should have a mix of slower fire rate and higher dmg with little dmg fall off at longer distances
There wouldn’t be a point in having long-distance damage drop off because you’re not gonna be hitting shots at long distance with the thing.
The snipers are the bane of my existence, but not because I get destroyed by them constantly. Most groups now turn into "How can we get the most snipers?" It becomes people's entire identity and the game ends up revolving around them. Then while traveling in a car, someone will stop us 300m away because they saw a tiny spec of a player in the distance. Then the sit in one spot and peak snipe battle from 8,000 meters away starts; imo the LEAST fun gameplay in Fortnite. Those without snipers sit there twiddling their thumbs, doing nothing. The sniping in one spot continues for minutes, often eventually leading to three outcomes:
- One player takes multiple snipes, depleting all of your heals, because they are attracted to peaking sniper glint like a moth to a flame.
- The sniping continues endlessly with players thirsting for long range elims that will likely have little to no affect on the game. Because sniping is their existence, they ignore all calls to move into the circle, resulting in last second rotations and often dying to storm. Cherry on top if the sniper who rotates late also carries zero mobility.
- And the most common outcome: We get sniped or third partied from behind then the snipers complain about how we get third partied so often, failing to realize they are the reason.
