Little confused lol but for the most part i use up to #3 just occasionally illl bust out the #4 depends on hairstyle and texture

a fingers length around for each guidline.
make sure to one by one dividing each portions. like stsrt from the taper. 2nd portion do deom the ear 4th from the back and so on.
just above taking out those lines, finger length.
I love that cut that was 🔥. You mention always shaving behind the ears and I do but sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough room or space to really shave, is that because I am not taking the edge a little higher? I try to be as natural as possible.
