@@teresabrown3305I would just glue down sandpaper at that point tbh. But goats being agile and all, I'm not sure how much elevation (if any) you need, just grip
That's a chicken thing, yep 😊😂 I forget if I found out about it here or another channel tho. But it is so funny how you can move em nearly any way and the head just stays
@@StonedtotheBones13 The natural vision stablization system for chickens, which also comes into play when their bodies are in motion for other reasons.
I really think that Bluey is soothing for the ADHD brain. It’s entertaining to all ages, reminds me of my own really early childhood, and is oftentimes super deep. I love watching it with my grandbabies.
Mr. Fizzle died when he felt it was time not someone else's. He made the decision that it was time to go, and you allowed it. That is a good thing, he now is at another realm where chickens go, and you gave him a good life. Your goats are so awesome as well as your other farm animals. Toby and Abbey dog are my favorite I love dogs so there's that and the cats are cute. Blessings
Condolences on the loss of Mr. Frizzle. I love that name and am sad to not hear it again. Also: the vocalizations made by chickens happily exploring a fresh field are a big mood lifter.
A farmer that does not have a touch of sadness when an animal has to be dispatched. Is not a farmer in the end that really cares about farming. Just my opinion. Good video in dealing with loss on the farm.
Morgan if you are going to use that shed for the goats put some indoor outdoor carpet on the ramp...that will help them from sliding down.... I am sending my condolences for Mr Frizzle ...🐓🐔 .
Sorry to hear about Mr. Frizzle, such a hard thing to do, but it’s also the right decision. The rest of the farm seems to be thriving. When I saw the jungle of lambs quarter, it reminded me that my flock isn’t a fan. The last time I I tossed some into their run it was there for a couple of days untouched. Great video!
What a substantive, balanced and harmonious video! You seem so solidly in your center, master of your domain, confident and on top of things. Everything was just humming along despite the loss of Mr. Frizzle, which you took perfectly in stride. Just a joy to watch. ❤
I totally get watching Bluey by yourself! My Grandkids love that show and sometimes my daughter (Grandkids Mom) and I will watch a particular meaningful one like when Chilli went through Postpartum depression and it will bring me to tears. It’s a funny show and a touching one as well. Very beautifully written.
Horizontal "treads" on the duck house ramp sounds like a good idea for the goats (especially once winter arrives). Sorry about your loss of Mr. Frizzle. I enjoy watching the "weird chicken moment of zen" video segments.
I must admit this video has started the fall season for me. I get kind of a warm, fuzzy feeling watching Morgan's interactions with all the farm animals. The goats and their names just brought it up a few notches. Well done.
You did your best for Mr Frizzle. I’m sorry for your loss as he was a character and had a place in your life. I’m so pleased you like Bluey. Treads on the ramp I’m sure would help the goats get into their new winter hut. Thank you for the weird chicken moment of Zen. I appreciate it. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
I love how joyful you are being with all your beautiful critters! And it brings us joy, too! You are such a kind hearted, caring farmer. RIP Mr. Frizzle! ☮
So sorry about Mr frizzle. Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane how with an influx of $33k monthly generated my family pulled through losing our farm to hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina
Love your close ups of the birds. For those of us who aren't around them, it's great to see and learn about them. And u might be changing how I feel about goats. They always creeped me out a bit, the eyes, the sounds they make
I never thought that goats could be so friendly like your trio! If you do get anymore in the future, I'd get them from the same farm, they obviously care deeply for them and did a fantastic job raising them.
The show Bluey is actually shown to be therapeutic as it's been found to help abuse survivors inner child and approaches things like Autism really well it's something that would benefit American children.
As a Buddhist I absolutely love the meditation of watching you do your farm chores, Morgan. Especially the "Happy Attacks" of Toby and Abby when you groom them. Ah! The cycle of life.
Hi Morgan. I'd put some battens across the ramp every foot for the goats, so they don't slip and just pull the plastic to the side until colder weather. Good luck mate!
ah, the bluey bug got you too! i have 3 heelers myself and no human chilrens, but yeah. it catches you. It's definitely a parenting show for adults that kids also like!
Sorry Mr. Frizzel had to be dispatched, he looked like he was ready, R.I.P. Mr. Frizzel, you were loved🐓❤️. Still working on the other goats names, is it Barnicus and Teleculus…I’m trying, lol. Agree something with traction would help the goats get in and out of ye ole duck house, maybe a material that keeps their hooves filed down, sure there’s something at the farm store. Looks like all is well at Gold Shaw Farm, thanks Morgan for the update.🐄🐓🦆🪿🦮🦮🐈🐈💕👍
Sorry about Mr. Frizzle. I never get used to losing chickens. We lost our small flock this morning. My 9 year old daughter is our resident chicken lady and she is devastated by the loss. She asked to watch farm videos (your videos) to help her feel better. We are 100% Bluey fans in this house. Me and the kids love the names.
As someone who has also raised chickens most of her life, sadly culling some is part of care. You gave him the best possible life and thats all that can be asked. Im curious what caused the tumor in case any of his babies get it. Could be cancer, could be just a weird tumor. Either way, you did all you could for him
Sad about Mr Frizzle but that is life. Hope you can find a great replacement and a few new Weird Chickens becasue the world needs more cool weird chickens and Zen moments 😎 👍
OMG... I should have gotten that reference to Bluey. I watch Bluey with my Granddaughter. I love it more than she does because there are so many funny adult references. I love the Swim Glass with Mirrifendor... sp. So sorry about Mr. Frizzle.
lol blueie names. My kids are older. My youngest son was crazy about Jake and the never land pirates. And we names pets after Jake and his friends. So I understand.
Telemachus is actually the name of Odysseus' son in Homer's Odyssey. My daughter listens to EPIC The Musical, so I recognized the name and thought it was funny. Even with as much as my kids love Bluey, I didn't recognize them as made-up names from the show.
I thought the goats were named for Greek mythology people. In the odyssey Telemachus is Odysseus son. I thought the other two were just myths I wasn’t familiar with. But as I am glad to see our true goddess Bluey outranks old boring Homer.
Sorry, I live in California and the only silkie breeders, I know, don't ship, you have to pick up in person. On the flip side of that, they only breed show silkies so I'm not sure that would even be something you would want. Regurdless, thanks for the post, Mr. Frizzle will have to live on in that Zen space in our hearts.
We need a weird chicken shirt that says “Be Weird, Bring Joy”
Totally agree need the shirt to honor him since he was one of the originals
Agreed
Portland Oregon already has that.
Are silkies bred and used for the soft fine down/ feathers.
Suggest getting a rock pile for the goats near your goat shed for winter. It keeps their hoofs in good shape and helps burn pent up winter energy.
Thank you for giving Mr. Frizzle such a good life, then ending it mercifully when he got sick.
Add roof shingles to the ramp. It will remove the slipperiness and help file their hooves. Win win!
I like that better than my idea of vermiculite and paint.
@@teresabrown3305I would just glue down sandpaper at that point tbh. But goats being agile and all, I'm not sure how much elevation (if any) you need, just grip
Roof shingles should last longer cuz the paper might fall or rip off@@StonedtotheBones13
My condolences on the loss of Mr. Frizzle.
I truly enjoy your episodes on the Weird Chickens, so I hope you continue and even grow this flock.
Thank you for putting him down! You gave him life and he died with grace.
3:24-3:27 The capability of holding its head still while you rotate its body is an amazing part of nature.

My brown fruit loop. I've never heard that expression before😂😂
Yes, I was impressed with that too.😂😂
Sorry about the loss of Mr. Frizzle. Your plans for the goats sounds good.

Imagine chicken heaven. "Died in honorable service to mankind" might read the banner over it.
Chicken jungle-I LOVE IT!!!!!
RIP Mr Frizzle , he had a great life though-you should congratulate yourself Morgan-you're doing a great job I think xxx
He exited the world after a long and honorable chicken life. The ordinary farm chicken should be as recognized and blessed!
Condolences on the loss of Mr. Frizzle. I love that name and am sad to not hear it again. Also: the vocalizations made by chickens happily exploring a fresh field are a big mood lifter.
Welcome to the Bluey Fans club! I'm glad I wasn't losing my mind when I heard the names and thought it was a reference.
Your weird chickens and goats are doing something for the farm, as you said, they're bringing joy, there is value in that even if it isn't monetary.
There is something in this dimension in this farm. It's a fairly spiritual thing.
This is life Morgan. Full of highs and lows. You gave him a good life

Roofing ( Asphalt Roofing Shingles ) on the ramp work for grip and also for wearing down their hooves.
