@isobel lehane In her interview with Zane Lowe she said that its written from the point of view of someone she hurt. She said it was like when she realised that she had hurt them and it was like her way of empathising with them. Hope this helps x

Also bury a friend she recorded the high pitched drill sounds in like the dentist’s office and stuff, and she got the idea for you should see me in a crown when she was in the kitchen and her dad (I think) grabbed a knife and it made that slicing sound. ilomilo IS based off the video game of the same name.
