6:06 In 10,000 years, archaeologist of a different species (or human of another era after ours suffered a major cataclysm) will wonder how and why this iron mountain was built.
It probably took that old guy an hour or better to install the tire chain. Now multiply by 4😳. I put snow chains on an Autocar plow/dump/hauling shit for the county, truck on just the back four and they were easy to put on, after ya master it. They weighed 35lbs. each. Those are in the hundreds probably.
The title is misleading because the last entry is Kamag Transporttechnik (Karlsdorfer Maschinenbau AG) of Germany, not KamAZ (Kamskiy avtomobil'nyy zavod) of Russia. KamAZ specialises in heavy trucks and buses and does not make this kind of industrial equipment.
Это жидкий Шлак а не металл .. Он легче по плотности и плавает сверху . После сливки с Доменной печки с " литейного двора " идет разделения на металл и шлак . :))
Well you can stop waiting. Tracks, either for excavators or dozers are either manufactured with or without lugs for traction. They are available in steel or hardened rubber.
Slag are impurities from the melting of the metal. The large quantities is proportional of how large is the production, those who are more liquid could be from different kinds of metal not only just steel or iron
@@Allanlbrr, Ok, I can get that, All I've ever seen was small scale melting and most of that was burnt off oxides and usually solid. Not really seen large scale foundries, so was unaware of liquid slag existing. from my perspective it didn't look right, so felt better asking than assuming
@@crazylarryjr yep, is a little weird, some of those furnaces really have to go way above the melting point of the metal so the casting would be perfect, most of the impurities from aluminium and braz/cooper are deposited in the bottom of the crucible that's why the slag is so liquid.

...imagine the power to melt all this stuff down. Wow.
0:44 well, ahh, pretty sure that is a Loader (Payloader) . . . . Excavators already have a linked track, no tires.
This would be even cooler without the music.
We need sustainable and environmentally friendly technology&equipment.

@@greggminkoff6733 my point is it’s a loader not a excavator

is there no heat recovery possible on the slag or am i saying something stupid :) ?
I was actually thinking of the energy lost through heat as well. Not stupid at all.
They probably worried about global warming

On the liquid drops (Slag haulers) were those failed mixes? never seen liquid slag before and never that much collected before

Might be slag from copper. I've been around a few Kress carriers at copper foundaries, and the slag is always liquid like that, in large quantities.
AC problem Will be hell in there
I can not imagine how the engine work in that condition..
