All the best Amy! I was/am treated at MD Anderson too though I have to drive from Dallas. I got 6 cycles of Taxol/Carbo/Avastin for stage 4 cervical adenocarcinoma in 2020. This was after my second recurrence. I was given "at least one year". I ended up taking the CareOncology protocol of repurposed drugs alongside chemo and now I've been NED for 1 year. I also did the iced mittens and booties that you have, except since my sessions would take 6-7 hrs, I asked the nurses to bring me packs of ice to keep my gelpacks cool. Now I have NO neuropathy. Also Loratadine (Claritin) really helped avoid bone pain. Good luck with your treatment!
Thank you pink sister for sharing your content today!! Also thank you for the wonderful tips!! Much appreciated!! I’m starting my 12 rounds of taxol treatments in a week!! I’m taking one day at a time sweet Jesus!! Praying for the best for you!! 🙏❤️🎀
AC is definitely not for the weak. You are still so positive and I admire that about you! We need to do a MDA meet up one day! And thank you for the compliment! Wigs are hot in Houston but I wanted to try it out after seeing one of your videos!
👊 I like how your video is very organized and thorough with info. If a patient found your video, they would be able to navigate quickly to the answers to their questions. 😃💙
Came across w/ur channel as I used to see about breast cancer vids.I myself is a triple negative patient having my Docetaxel now;soon will be my 2nd round. Thanks for sharing your journey.Had 4rounds FEC,now Taxotere 4rounds too.Wondering what’s next!😃
Hi there. Your chemotherapy regime is different from what I received. Hope this time ends quickly so you can finish chemotherapy and move to the next step!
