Not dry at all! I appreciate your videos! Stage 2b triple negative, my journey started April 1st. I finished my last chemo 8/26. I go tomorrow just for keytruda, also have my breast MRI to see if the tumor is gone. 🙏🏻
For me taxol/carbo felt worse than A/C don’t get me wrong the weekend is when I crashed and it was horrible but I think cause there was no break in between weeks with taxol each week I felt more tired and run downed. My digestive system is horrible too. Hoping I start to feel like myself again before I go into surgery on 9/24. I try not to think of recurrence but it’s so hard. I feel your pain! I pray for you and everyone touched by this awful disease.

You look beautiful! 💙 I just completed my 1st cycle of weekly Taxol infusions. I've enjoyed watching your videos. I hope you're doing much better. I pray your journey continues to help others. I went back to uploading my videos on my channel to try and get the word out to do self exams and have your annual mammograms and, like you, document my journey.
    Take care 💙

Hugs! I thank you for creating this visual experience. I have just begun the fight (lol first chemo this past Wednesday 8/24/22)! I am encouraged by you and others! I am not the one to say much so I am just in my head so far. Steps… Either way I am binge watching and am beyond grateful for you and your fight💐

Hi Amy! I am in Houston too and following your same regime, (I will be starting my 3rd round of the A/C) so I am a few months behind you. Thank you for posting the side effects to help prepare me for what is coming. Your babies are beautiful! (TNBC, stage 2A, grade 3).

Hi Jennifer! I am glad that you feel more prepared for what is to come.
People ask me which I preferred between AC and Taxol… it’s similar to asking me which child I prefer between my two kids. 😂 Similar yet also so different! Taxol requires more preparation (ice mittens & socks) and it is usually every week so it’s a different pace from AC.

I believe that you will feel better soon. I know it's hard sometimes when people you know aren't doing as well.
Self-care for me is #1, and I need my #1 to keep me in a good attitude for others.
Your videos are quite professional. I am impressed. And, this info is so powerful, and rare. Not many people talk about these things much on TH-cam. 😊

It wont be long and Avery will be taking off walking then running. I know it's hard but you need to stay positive as much as you can. Everyone's case is different even if we have the same receptors. Do what you can and rest when you are tired try not to over do it. Take care Amy and thanks for the update.

#2 is my favorite too, I'm just starting my journey, I'm going to my Internest in an hour so he can tell me what I already know. I have My Chart and it's all there, I've been researching like crazy, so what he'll be telling me won't be a surprise. I see my oncologist and surgeon on Thursday. This is all so scary. Thanks for the videos, Amy, I've been binge watching and will watch again for sure.

You do what you can because that's what you can do. But at the same time, we need to be kind to ourselves. So keep the stress to a minimum. Science shows stress weakens the immune system. Fatigue is your body telling you that you need to rest physically and emotionally. So in the scheme of all things you shouldn't feel guilty for not doing a lot. Also crying is a good thing, because science shows crying balances the nervous system. By the way, I live in Garland, TX.🤠 And statistics say you have a pretty decent chance of living a normal life after all of this. I am sorry about the 3 people in your group. In all due respect, it's easy to hear about a person similar to you passing away online since it connects everyone around the world. At the same time a lot more people like you have survived. ❤️

Taxol can bring on Hand Foot Syndrome, which would explain dry skin on hands and feet. I lost my fingerprints so I couldn't use a thumbprint login on my phone lol. They came back 5 weeks out of chemo.

Taxol killed my soul. The red devil was great for me no side effects. But dag gone that taxol. No thank you. I felt my insides dying. I hate chemo. I know its supposed to help... but sheesh. Hope all is well beautiful lady❤

    • @lesimpleholic

Yes, Taxol by itself wasn’t bad but the continued accumulation of it and the added carbo and keytruda made it tough.
