As someone who loves skull servant, here are two notes: 1) play more princess. The card can save your life a lot and it’s just good to see. If you open two or more, you can always discard one with one for one or droplets. 2) run performapal popperup instead of allure. You want to kill so pitching as many servants stuck in hand as possible (3 cards max) is too good of an effect than banishing one for wightmare setup.
Popperup is a hard once per turn though and it also costs 4K life points to use assuming you go first and use it as your starting option, that seems like a big investment for a card that's not always what you want to play...
@@kammerer396 why would you ever go first with a deck that wants to otk unless you’re forced to? Just wondering since I said it’s better than allure since it can put more damage in grave for you.
@@anthonymurray545 there are plenty of instances where your hand has cards in it you don't want to send off popperup, especially by cost which means if I'm forced to pitch a potential starter like princess for example and then the card gets interrupted now I'm just -2 or -3 as opposed to activating allure and going -1 if they interrupt it. Allure can also lead to more damage because allure banishing a king which you then get back later with a whitemare is going to be better than just dumping even 2-3 dead skull servants to grave with only one king on field. I don't know, I guess it's probably just preference, but I feel like the utility of allure and its ability to be used more than once per turn lends it to being better, maybe id play popperup at 1 just as a bombshell card or something.
@@kammerer396 I do understand the attraction of allure but, as someone that has been playing this deck since before wightbaking, I really find more success and benefit off of popperup. As you said “not wanting to discard princess if it’s your only starter”, you don’t have to! You could always pitch a few other cards and the normal summon princess after. I also don’t like using popperup first unless the rest of my hand is fragile or can’t risk being interrupted. These are just my thoughts and I hope you can see my side with my preferences!
I would like to compare my skull servant vs mine in a conversation. With just major peircing and over attacking ability in my deck. Im supirsed you didn have infected mail or ties of the brethren in your deck to make otks alot easier.
@stevefernandez6431 it's an OTK deck so playing Ties dosent allow you to conduct your BP, infected mail is kwl, but you shouldn't need to waste that space in the deck in place of board clears like raigeki or something
@@zephyrwargamesyugioh it is cool just be careful with the impcantation engine since if they are on Board u cant use anything from the Extra Deck. And in the New Set there will be a rank 10 xyz with negation that is good for going 1st.
Thats the neat part you dont. JK You adapt the last 12 spaces in the deck for what you face most, so for my enviroment, Super Poly, nib, Droplest etc are most effective, however if you face labs, Yubel etc more frequently, then you would put in stuff like Lightning storm, you could main cosmic, or dusters, stuff like that
@@zephyrwargamesyugioh I use 2 Lightning Storm, 1 Duster and 1 Troymare Phoenix. Nibiru is much more for side I think, cuz it can brick in hand and be the 6th card after all the summons.
My friends are going to hate this. Im the guy who slams the oldschool cards with new school support. A friend of mine called me the Kuriboh tamer. But i guess ill dabble in skulls now.
Makes no sense run one lady and one skull since they only are used on the deck because of prince. Or run 3 or run 2 of both. Also this deck depends too much on the new card. If you don't open with it or baking you basically lose. I would run more ways to get it such as gozuki (both mill baking to bring it or summon from hand when milled) and uni zombie
@@zephyrwargamesyugioh why run 3 skull servants (the normal one) if you will run only 2 lady? The only reason it's useful is to use it prince. He will use 2 lady's and servants it with 2 princes. The third prince can't bring the servant to the grave without an lady on the deck. So if you will run 2 lady you can also run 2 servants.

You should consider running Uni-Zombie since it is an easy one card combo extender.

princess at 1 is dumb too me cause u can use it as hand trap for situations save your life or kill your opponent.
You don't need it as a HT the idea is to one shot otk which is crazy easy with lord now

You could also play twin twisters, it's a good discard outlet that can pop 2 against heavy spell trap decks.

It's 2 lady, 1 White mare and 1 princess, plus 3 of the rest so not sure what your referring to on your first point.
