Thanks so much, Laura!! It took me a bit too! I kept telling myself I wanted to get back on track, but had to just be patient for it to click. Getting moving really helped me! You've got this!!
I agree with Anita! I also don’t understand when you have so many people who watch your videos they’re so little thumbs up too not just you but all the TH-camrs what would it hurt to give a thumbs up! Great prep! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much, Kim! I really wish there was a spot to put a reason. Like for this one, it may be just because of the bad audio in that part. To me, what's the sense of a thumbs down if I don't know the reason to know if it's something I could work on. But honestly, there are also a lot of trolls that just don't like people. There's also the ones that are accidental. I have to say when I'm on my phone, I've accidentally hit the thumbs down instead of the thumbs up. But as far as all the videos I've watched, I can honestly say I have never given anyone a thumbs down. If I don't like the video, I just move on. :)
I made the stuffed French toast and Aldi’s Breakfast Best Turkey Breakfast Sausage for myself for Mother’s Day. YUM!! I was looking forward to having at least one of the four servings left over for tomorrow’s breakfast but my hubby liked it so much he ate the other 3 servings in a single sitting! I’ll be making it again next weekend. My favorite sweet breakfast so far! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Planning Us Healthy Omgoodness!! I will have to try it!! Thank you so much for always being so kind and sharing with us! Was the chicken teriyaki good as well?
Hi Lorraine! I actually did a meal prep review after this one and mentioned that I didn't end up using that topping on the pork chops. Since I was trying trout for the first time, someone mentioned to me that the garlic parmesan was good on the trout, so I did that and then just used a regular breading for the pork chops. I'm definitely going to try it on pork chops though because I think it would be really good on anything really.
I have a glass popcorn popper that I bought. I just weigh out the popcorn, pop it in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes, and then I put spray butter on it and sprinkle it with white cheddar popcorn seasoning that I get from Walmart. It's a powder called Kernel Seasons and you can have 2 tsp for 0 points. It's right near the popcorn at Walmart. :)
@@PlanningUsHealthy thanks, I tried the I can't believe it's not butter spray and I thought it was too wet, what do you use?? I also have the kernal seasons powder😊
I always forget about shrimp!! And I love shrimp!! I need to start adding that in to things. And the french toast is a new favorite!! Soooo good! I added just a dollop of Cool Whip to it!
Oh my.....that French Toast though! Yummmm! I was reading the recipe and it says not to reheat in the microwave but to instead eat it cold or reheat in the oven wrapped in foil. Did you eat it cold Kristi? If you reheated in the microwave, how did it do? I have everything here at home for the chicken teriyaki so it's going to be meal prep for work this week!
Hi Susan! I actually preferred mine reheated. And I just put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. I loved it!! My husband preferred his cold. He said it was more like a dessert that way, he though. But we definitely both loved it!! If I make the chicken teriyaki again, I think I'll leave the sugar snap peas out, or just serve them cold on the side. I didn't care for the hard texture of those in with it. The recipe didn't actually call for those. I just added them. Let me know how you like it all!! :)
I just stored it in the fridge. I didn't notice it being soggy at all. Of course I heated it and put syrup and Cool Whip on it too. But my husband ate his cold and he didn't mention anything about sogginess. It was just soo good! :)
I actually didn't end up using that topping. I did a meal prep review video in my weekly weigh-in and mentioned that I used the topping for the trout that week. So, for the pork chops, I just ended up doing the breaded pork chop recipe that's on my website. But yes, I probably would have cooked the pork for longer. Mine are pretty thick, so I probably would have done a good 15 minutes or so. (Salmon I usually do 12 max).
Kristi, not a comment but a couple of questions. I'm not a cucumber fan but have been trying to work on that. So when you have cucumbers as a side (with OG dressing for instance) do you peel them? Cut them cross wise into circles or into spears? I realize that doesn't change the taste but curious. I bought some of the small ones b/c I do like them better than big ol' cukes. I wanna do it like KRISTI does it. LOL Lastly, any hints on washing out those reusable zip locks? I bought some via your link. I saw someone criss crossing a couple of chop sticks in a glass and using that to hold the cleaned baggies upside down so they drain and dry but any good cleaning ideas? I'm making the French toast this weekend. B/c I cannot BEAR those yolks down the drain, i'm using whole eggs in place of egg whites. I'll let you know. Have a safe weekend!
Hi Sharon! Haha - I just mentioned you in my weigh-in results video - trying to get that up tonight - I'm behind!! You made me smile at this comment! LOL Yes, I do peel my cucumbers but only because I'm unable to digest the skins properly because of my UC. I just peel them and then chop them so they're like little circles. Sometimes I may then quarter those. I agree - the mini ones are way better than the regular ones. To me, the regular ones just have way too much water in them due to the seeds. The mini ones just seem more fresh tasting to me. As far as washing out the bag, I just put them in my soapy dishwater and hand wash them. Then I usually just put them over a Yeti or tall glass or something to dry them out. Let me know how you liked the French Toast!! Thanks so much! Be safe!! :)
@@PlanningUsHealthy So I did do the cucumbers "Just like Kristi" and I liked them. I too mostly peel them for the same reasons you do. And my BF,, Bob, ate them and he's picky. LASTLY I finally got around to making the stuffed french toast casserole. OH. MY. LORDY. This could be dessert. I had to wait to make it b/c SOMEONE (BOB) put the Maple Groves bottle back in the fridge... STONE COLD EMPTY. If we were married I'd probably have to divorce him. So I had to wait for a delivery b/c MG is the BEST and 0 points!! So you know how I feel about watching that egg yolk go down the drain (noooooooooooo) so I used 1/2 cup of regular eggs (which is 2 large eggs) instead of the whites. It was great and probably no one could tell the difference.
I am curious. I see you are using reusable bags and writing on them. Do you then reuse the bag for the same recipe? Does the writing come off in the dishwasher? How does that work?
Hi, Laura! I actually just talked about that in my meal prep video I'll be putting up today! :) I use a permanent marker and then I just hold the bag against the side of my sink and use a scrubber with hot water and soap. These bags can't go in the dishwasher because it will ruin the seal. (Yes, I know form experience..LOL) I've also heard rubbing alcohol works to remove it, but I haven't tried that.
LOL love ya Neeters!! Yeah, these ones came fast..lol I dont usually get many on my meal preps. It's all good though. I just do my best and share what I do. Not everyone will like it and that's okay. 😁😁
Both of those recipes look good. I am seriously dragging my feet about getting back on track after quarantine but watching your videos are inspiring!
Thanks so much, Laura!! It took me a bit too! I kept telling myself I wanted to get back on track, but had to just be patient for it to click. Getting moving really helped me! You've got this!!

How was the garlic parmesan topping on the pork chops?

Hi, I was just wondering how you do your popcorn, I have one of those silicone poppers which I love but it's not very good dry. Lol
I have a glass popcorn popper that I bought. I just weigh out the popcorn, pop it in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes, and then I put spray butter on it and sprinkle it with white cheddar popcorn seasoning that I get from Walmart. Looks so good! Did you store the French toast in the refrigerator or freezer for 3-4 days? I’d worry it would get soggy.

Did the air fryer temperature or time change since you were cooking pork chops and not salmon?
I actually didn't end up using that topping. I did a meal prep review video in my weekly weigh-in and mentioned that I used the topping for the trout that week.
