I love your message today. Having grown children, I can say that providing a safe place to fail is a beautiful gift for your family. I also look back and see the benefits of letting our children see our own faults and how we work through them. This helps them see that we are not perfect either and that we can all have grace for one another. We will all make mistakes in our parenting, but the most important thing we can do is repair with the child after an argument etc... I love that our grown children still feel comfortable telling us when something hard is going on in their lives. they ask us to pray for them and know that we will not respond with judgement, but love. You have such a beautiful family. I love your intentionality and love for each one.

I had that cleaning moment this past weekend. At like 3pm I just got this surge of energy and felt a sensational need to clean my entire house. My sweet daughter offered to help me out so we got a bucket of hot water and some cleaning concentrate and rags and we wiped down everything in this house top to bottom, vacuumed , and mopped. It felt amazing when we were done! I too always get my shopping done by end of Nov and everything wrapped by the time the kids are on Christmas break from school, that way all that time is ours to have with each other. I love what you got going here on TH-cam. I love finding meaningful content I can connect with.

Sarah..... are any fo your children picky eaters and have you ever experienced the struggle of trying to get your child to eat? To the point that they are constantly hungry, because they only want to eat fruit and not much protein.
I’m glad they want fruit! I always encourage my children to listen to their bodies unless they want sugar lol then grab protein instead.. this is a tough one!! I sneak protein into fruit smoothies! Or we do plain yogurt with fruit on top! Would your picky eater eat fruit with protein with it?
