    I’ve been actively looking for a decent post since last year November and all the responses are we want white natives and they want to move us to TCs and schools with incredibly low offers. It’s tough!

      In China, they have always wanted white native English speakers.....kind of racist, but that is how it has always been.

      The minute they see your skin colour. They're not invested in their kids learning English, because what does my skin colour have to do with what I can deliver? Is it a beauty contest?They will literally take a russian who can barely speak English over a black native speaker. I have been searching for 3 weeks,my contract is coming to an end and no luck

      @@angieblazing that the sad reality of it. But ke sometimes it not the schools fault I think in most cases the parents dictate their preferences after all it business so the school takes what attract parents. Sadly they don’t know the real effect of what they doing.

    This seems like really interesting information but Ive watched two of your videos i find it hard to hear or understand you. You seem to be whispering and also mumbling a bit. At some times im honestly not sure what language you are speaking and Im an English teacher. I respectfully suggest getting better audio, speaking up and speaking a bit slower and clearer.

    Being a native white doesn't save you either, now you need a BA in Education or a PGCIE to get a job that pays above 20k after tax and they're really pushing the working hours now. The rent in big cities is high, you're not gonna make much money either way. A lot of the job offers for non natives aren't even willing to provide visa assistance, which is insane and insulting to anyone looking to leave their homeland to make a buck in a foreign country.

    • @MfanaKaMshengu
      @MfanaKaMshengu  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It all business for Chinese. Sadly parents want white teachers more than blacks. School are than forced to hire according to their customers needs and we totally have no issues with such a case it beyond schools control.
      So being white is more of an advantage at this point. It just that there are less jobs now overall in China. It not like before.

      if you're qualified, the salaries are higher than before, and it's very easy to get jobs. nothing has changed. it's just getting more difficult for under qualified teachers.
