No, you don't have to redo the entire process which is the advantage of power bi over excel. Just copy and paste the data, then refresh the dashboard on Power BI. The dashboard updates to show the latest data. You can also add the new month as new lines in the excel sheet then use a slicer to select the month you want the dashboard to show.
