This was just what I needed, seeing how the mirror could be pried off. My mirror cover had gotten knocked loose, and I was able to get the mirror and cover off and glue together the mounting bracket. No more riding with duct tape. Thanks, Phil!
Just what i need to know. Thank you for showing. I have a broken plastic piece inside that needs to remove the glass in order to remove the whole inside assembly out to epoxy back. With the glass on impossible to slide out of the hole.

Thanks i couldn’t find anything on how to remove it, glad I saw this before trying to pry it out.
Update: tried this and I had to remove the whole mirror from the car to disassemble the thing covering you from seeing the back brackets.
