As I have gotten older I find myself using TH-cam as almost a Time Machine. I used to play this game when I was 11 years old and I’m now 35 with a wife and a little girl. I have distant memories of this game and others. But I can use TH-cam to be transported back 24 years. As soon as I heard the opening music I felt like an 11 year old boy again. I could see my bedroom, remember my old friends and remember the game as if it was yesterday. We do really live in an amazing world now where we can use technology to go back in time.

My god, we were addicted after we´ve rocked this game in split screen. Greetings from Germany.

This was one of those games that I missed out on, a game I just never played as a kid. I do have a Dreamcast, is this worth picking up in 2019? smaller for sure XD
@@184garage2 What happened? Is this because of the aspect Ratio or because the character is taller?
How to reach a silver room with monsters❓❓❓
All cyberpunked out! I love it
Cyberpunked out?
@@ikagura laser weapons and what not is what I ment
Is the lightsabre (like from Star Wars) a mod? Or is it a normal part of the game?
It’s normal part of the game, pioneer uses photon weapons, that’s why it looks a bit similar as laser saber
My first ever online game.
Really wanted to play this game again. Which would you say is the definitive version? GameCube?
Probably the PC version. PSO: Blue Burst. It contains ep1, ep2 and ep4.
PC? No shit I had no idea! Can I still get it somewhere?
@@ghostofronaldreagan172 You should be able to play on a private server. The official server went down years ago. If you type into google "pc blue burst private server", the first link should get you going. Its all free now too. The game and drop rate might be reworked a little, so its not truly the same experience you would have had back then, but its the best you're going to get!
Cool. Does the download include the single player campaign?
@@ghostofronaldreagan172 Yeah it does! You will still have to be online though. I think you just make a game and select "solo" in the menu and you can access all the levels like normal. Some have been updated since the version 1 dreamcast version.
Do you have to be online to play this on a dreamcast?
There still players?
Child hood memories
I had this back in the day but could not figure it out at all ... :(
Congratulations by vídeos , poucos vídeos sobre esse game infelizmente
WoL haven't uploaded your gameplay on their channel yet.
It's definitely there, under Sega > Dreamcast > Phantasy Star Online (Ver. 1.0). Posted on Auguest 16th
Sorry i got confused. Yeah. they have a huge list of games to upload yet. Normally it's between a year or two before they have it on the main channel. Which is one reason I like to have them on mine.
Saudades dessa época de DC!
My first online cyber attack
I remember playing this on my Dreamcast waaaaay back in the day...and man, the combat suuuuuucked! Just booted up Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis for the first time, so really hoping it's better than the first game.
I had to unplug my phone line to my Dreamcast lol
Best game
Bad ass

Took Almost 20 Years From Sega
I played so much of this game and was sad when ppl would use GameShark to PK you
que recuerdos...jeje
Nice playthrough, but why isn't he using Trap Visions or Scape Dolls? He took a lot of avoidable damage.
PLAYED IT ON DREAMCAST WHILE I WAS 10 Y/O ..
Es re flashero esto amigo es increible.
