By far one of the greatest narrators, Citizen Kate is such a good story teller, i can listen and watch these missions even if there is no enemy engagement's, you truly get the sense of the unknown and how vast the Star Citizen universe really is, even though there is much work to be done, watching Citizen Kate gives me a reason to say damn i need to get back in and explore, i gave this game up a while ago because there was a bit of a learning curve but you get used to it, and it might seem like so much to take in but i guess i just need to make some friends next time..
I agree with the percentage thing, as that would allow for them "overpopulating" the mission with more enemies than are technically needed. This would let you complete the mission without god markers pointing out the last few, and also make sense logically. Few forces will fight literally down to the last man, so it's easily explainable why there are extra hostiles, as the extras would move to retreat once it was clear their victory was no longer possible.
Loving these Save Stanton vids. The limits on number of AI was always due to server strain. But the replication layer split has eased the burden on servers. The downside being stability. New tech, new ways to break. But it's a necessary step. 4.0 is going to break things in many ways, so it's best to solve some of these issues now. It's why 3.4.2 and 3.4.3 is actually on the 4.0 branch. 4.0 lite.
This is an awesome showcase of what gameplay in the distribution centres could be! Only thing we're missing is a reason to use ground vehicles, maybe if they have strong anti-air emplacements in the future.
that mission poping up just as you finnished the first had me thinking "Citizen another Distrubution center needs your help" but seriously this mission looks amazing the requirment for a combined offensive you need piloits to stop data runners escaping and boots on the ground to clear the site and restore the AA guns really hope this is telling of how big missions are going to develop in the future.
I absolutely cannot wait for this. This may be better than Siege of Orison in my eyes. Seeing ships fly overhead fighting while doing fps combat at a distribution center is a dream mission. then going to a comm array and fighting multiple idrises in the polaris when it comes out in a few weeks with my friends will be the most fun ive ever had in this game. super cool to see from CIG
I might have missed it, but have you seen a mechanized strategy deployed for this area? I think it would be cool to one day see the viability of having players on the ground with like a Cutlass Steel or something providing air support or an Ursa vehicle being used to safely transport the squad around. That's what gets me excited for this kind of content that they are showing now though, it's like an open ended puzzle for us to solve.
Oh I have never seen the med area on the carrack. So pretty! I hope they fix the cargo situation I read about. Otherwise the Polaris will take its spot for sure T.T
Besides that the developers have problems counting from zero, so if you need to kill ten there might just be nine of them... just like that one container that is always missing when you hand in cargo or try to fill a hangar bay with boxes and can't fill the last 24 because it counts 4x24 as 120.
I look forward to the org tools and LFG functionality so more people can more easily group up for this content. Also, wouldn’t it be nice if us 600i owners could pull one “to deal with our injuries”? Come on, CIG!
maybe we can use a ant-air gun truck to take out the AI ships that are shooting at the parked ships. It was funing doing that at GH so may be fun thing to add to do here to
Are you excited for the Med terrapin coming in, hopefully this IAE. You fly the normal one so much I can't see you not switching to the new one once it releases, lol.
These missions always get my little rat brain going - how many boxes could I fill with armour and weapons. Miss local inventor because I made sure never to miss anything, tad harder now its all got to be put in a box.
I’m assuming (a) it’s a narrative “documentary” style video rather than strictly a letsplay so looting isn’t cinematic unless it’s part of the video’s story ( and she may loot bts) (b) it’s PTU so there would be little point in looting
All I still see is desynced npcs and players.copy/paste assets. Every bunker looks the same every distribution center looks the same Nice tech demo though.

they are already going to implement that for bunkers, was a devpost early this month/late last by Zac I think

Honestly.. its nice to see for evocati cuz once is in open ptu the sheer LAG will kill the joy of this event.. not to mention the constant 30ks.

Ship regen must have in the future some type of limiter, like a refuelling sistem. Regen system in ship in so pay to win atm.
try not to park on the roads, you will block friendly Ground vehicles (ie Tanks/ Nursa)
