It was a hard up, but a beautiful hike, and you couldn't pick a more perfect place to wildcamp even with the rain. Another great vlog, Rachel. I hope the rain lets up for the next day. Thanks for sharing.
😮 @RamblingRachelUk your not going to belive this Rachel. But I decided this afternoon to head to Yorkshire for a couple of days mooching and wildcamping until Monday morning. I had plotted a route on hikerapp starting from Keld 👍 the exact route you two did in this video.. Although I will be doing a circular back to Keld before heading to Malham for my second day 😁 Great video and superb wildcamp spot which I was thinking of whilst plotting my route 😁 thanks for sharing and takecare x
Ohh love Reeth something to look forward too next video and some great hiking around there too. I love those old Yorkshire villages and there are so many of them, all looking very similar and all just as awesome too. Keld is always our turn a round point when we do the Muker wildflower meadow walk in the summer and we always stop off at that farm teashop but never go to the waterfalls as it is always in a drought when we seem to go there. Been going to Gunnerside since I was a kid and had many a lunch stop at the old smelt works as well, such an idyllic spot. Twenty miles was good going on day 2 mind and I suppose that rain had to come at some point, which was a shame. Cheers Alan
You guys are amazing! Great review of the reasonable campsite to start. Thwaite is lovely with its quaint postboxes and tea rooms. I do want to try and review Yorkshire villages at some point, i will definitely include this one on my itinerary. keld even has a B and B. Makes the route even more appealing. You got great weather and isolation, would have thought there would have been a few c2c’s up there. Great spot for your wild camp! Have to get into all this water purification malarky! There is the rain! Roll on part 4 👍
Absolutely a wonderful place to explore. Love all the wonderful views of the houses built with stone. So very different than the houses where I live. Also, beautiful waterfalls, old ruins, mining mill, green countryside and so much more. Thanks for sharing with us. Have a great weekend.
Fab views over the moors and valleys, and a cracking spot for camping. Surprising to not see even 1 or 2 other hikers on a C2C route but can be like buses - none and then a bunch at the same time 😁 Roll on Part 4!
Such beautiful scenery and it looks like a pleasant, doable hike. I've been sharing your videos with my friend who's an absolute Herriot-ophile and suggested that since she's already seen the Dales she needs to walk them the Herriot Way.
Loved the walking boots used as flower pots! 😄 Another gorgeous section of your adventure. Lovely spot to camp, glad you got pitched up before the rain started. Look forward to you heading to Reeth and Grinton! 😃👍

Amazing camping spot for your Wigwam with beautiful view.
Hey Hiker Girl ❤😊 how's it going? Love these views again, you have a great sense to choose the right places to walk around!

Great sharing as always! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Great video! Your camera captured those stunning colours on the moors really well 😀 and what an epic wild camp!!
Beautiful scenery again, Rachel. But you’re looking a little tired. Hope you stayed dry in the tent!

Epic pitch in those ruins 👍🙂
Definitely in my top ten wild camping locations.
Hi Rachel. Fantastic scenery, and looked an amazing wild camping spot! Shame the weather closed in, but you can't have everything! 👍😁
It was rather amazing. We had the place to ourselves 🥰
Hold on, Thwaite a minute....
Ow... Now i need to plan this to. love to see it.
I’d recommend the Herriot Way, we had so much fun even on the more tricker sections x
Plenty to see. Great adventure for you.
More to come! Just need more time to do the editing 😀
