No clue how i found your channel. No clue why i enjoy watching a woman who lives in a truck camper. Somehow you make something very simple, extremely entertaining to watch! I dont subscribe to many TH-cam channels, but I look forward to your videos! Keep up the good work, honest content will always be successful. Be well Becca! Stay safe out there! 😊
Just started watching this video but I wanted to comment. Remember everyone has had some issues when learning to drive stick, especially if you are use to automatic. Double that with driving on the right side of the vehicle...def can cause stress. Im proud of you! Ok...gotta finish the video.
Foil packs are good with chicken, pork chops and even a hamburger patty. Lay the seasoned meat down first and then add your veggies around it. I use fresh and not canned. Fold foil over instead of clumping it. Bake 30-45 minutes. I’ve been eating this since the 1960’s on Blue Bird/Camp Fire Girl campouts. I fix them a lot in my oven when I get lazy and don’t want to stand to cook. Just toss in oven 325-340 for 45 minutes to an hour. Really good and easy.
Let me just say how impressed I am with your ability to “make it work” with the tent situation! Seriously, you know how many people would have thrown in the towel… you got creative and it worked out GREAT! Also, foil packet meals are so good and that looked pretty great! Props on the coffee selection too!!!
Becca, you did great for your first time driving stick! As a fellow Rhode Islander, my second car (in the 90's) was stick and all the feelings you felt, I l felt. If you drive again, you will feel 100% more confident. My current vehicle is my first automatic since that car. My next Jeep will most definitely be stick!
I love ❤ that mini Japanese truck! ADORABLE . It never occurred to me that you didn't know how to drive "Stick". Your experience was a lot like mine was in college learning a "Stick". I didn't know how but I loved my college boyfriend's MGB and wanted one of my own. "COLLEGE POOR" I opted for the even smaller MG MIDGET Convertible choice. To make the Sale happen the Dealership HAD TO INCLUDE A FULL-ON PARKING LOT "TEACHING SESSION" ON HOW TO DRIVE "STICK" BEFORE I COULD TAKE IT HOME. I still laugh wildly about that! My brand new MG MIDGET CONVERTIBLE, RED PAINT, Real Wire Wheels plus Spare and Luggage Rack! Geeze I ❤loved❤ that car 🚗! I camped (tent towed on tge Luggage Rack) and traveled everywhere! So enjoy your vehicles too, they take on a life of their own when the "fit" is right ✅ !
It's probably better that she's never drivin a stick, I can't imagine going from left side to right side, that wld really mess w ur mind...I think...lol
If you are back in Ga sometime- i have a Japanese ambulance (automatic) you can take camping 😀. Its a blast and you can sleep on the gurney lol its a no build but i have gone on several month long trips in her! Has a fridge and jackery! Lol Great video!
Hi Becca - This takes me back to my teen days on my dad’s farm when I had to learn a car stick shift (as we called it back then). I was lucky as we had a laneway I could practice on. After awhile it became second nature. Later on I got used to automatic drive and haven’t driven a gear shift in many years. I always appreciate my stick shift days of my youth. Good luck with your friend’s. Cheers from 🇨🇦 🍁🍁
Becca, the Japanese little pickup truck that you made into a camper looked awesome, but your fish is even better. Love. Your shows until sky high and give her a hug from me, love your show.
You did awesome with the driving, Becca. I've had about 4 bugs over the past 25 years and I totally love driving my current 1970 VW Beetle. Love, love, love her. Thanks for the adventure. See you both on your next one.
😂😂😂 Becca sorry to laugh in South Africa it's more manual s thn automatic I can't Can't drive automatic 😢😢 to use to manual I think I will always look for the clutch in a automatic car and hit the brake all the time😮 lovely trip God bless❤❤❤Skye looks very happy
Fun times! In fishing-speak, release the clutch like the button on a rod - there's a feel to it - if that helps in the future. Way to improvise with the tent! So happy the weather and bugs worked out for you!
I love those Mini Japanese trucks👍 Becca you never fail to disappoint with your videos! Keep up the great content. Steve Wallis is awesome just like you!
That was a fun video. Congratulations on learning a stick shift. I learned by purchasing a car and having to drive it home. 10 miles home and had it mastered. You did great!!!! That meal looked wonderful. I love canned potatoes. The beans provide protein and fiber. Have a great week.❤
Great Video and I love the "Student Driver" bumper sticker.... Great that the car passed you in the breakdown lane lol. Next time add a "Baby On-Board" bumper sticker....lol
Driving a stick shift in today's traffic is rough, expecially if you have never driven one. That's all we had not too long ago. Miss the good old days of the manual transmission. Good job Becca👍 It's nice to see you branching out and trying something new. Prayers continue for precious Skye❤ 🙏
You did very well driving that mini truck. We have them here on the base where I work and they’re not very fast. We can only drive on certain roads. Not on the busy boulevards, just side streets. However, you did really well.
this looked like it was tons of fun congrats 😊... Skye looked like she had fun on this trip to 🤗.. congrats on learning how to drive the world's coolest truck 😊...
Driving stick opens a whole new avenue of opportunities for you! Love that you drink instant coffee. There are decent ones out there. Curious as to the brand of vegan cheese you used since I’ve yet to see mixed flavors near me. They’ve come a long way though I understand being pumped when they melt!!
Driven and owned many standard vehicles, to me the strangest thing is driving on the right side. You did an excellent job driving the mini truck. Foil pack was interesting first time I've seen this done, looked good. Keep traveling
Always foil cooked over fire. Individual packets with chicken leg, fresh carrots, celery, potatoes, onions cut up. Put butter all over it, wrapped up and threw in fire.. my mom wrote a cookbook back in 70's called " woodalls campsite cookbook." I wish I had an extra one I'd send it to you!
Ahhhh youth! I would’ve put the rails up on that truck and shove the tent in! I remember traveling across country with my roommate, we would pull into a rest area and sleep on the grass. Of course… Much much younger and much much braver. I doubt you could sleep on the grass and a rest area now! That was a honking big fish to end the video with!
I have almost bought one of those trucks several times but never pulled the trigger. I haven't driven a stick vehicle in years but I miss jamming gears. I wish a car company would sell a bare bones vehicle without all the extra. Like air bags and a/c yes but none of the rest of today's vehicles stuff.
I want a Kei truck really bad. Mav has a nice camper conversion. Some states wont allow the truck but the camper is fine. There are French Press coffee pots made for camping, if you get tired of instant.
Sup Becca, did better than think👍🏼, early 2000's best friend had car lot, I helped out, ,2 yrs later couldn't get in 3rd, I was limited to lot and side street lol, he still says I'm a fu+kip lol. Cool little truck tho, almost got years ago for club truck but all big guys, like big golf cart😂🤣. Now wish I bought one and built a grill on back😢. Canned potatoes awesome, can make fluffy mash with food mill! Rotel awesome too, be careful there's mild, regular, hot, habanero... I'm obsessed with habanero for queso, isn't as hot as think! Hurts different part tounge, I really loved this video, obviously 🫤. Tyvm tc 🎣
I remember sitting in the backseat when my big sister was learning to drive stick in a little Datsun; I think I caused permanent damage to my body from laughing so hard, and probably had some whiplash 😂.
Yeah, No. That made me nervous for you. I'd rather you be safe behind a shelter with access to drive away, without being or going out. IJS I'm so glad that you were alright though. Thumbs up and love, from S. California.
OMG Dang stickshifts. I don't like them. One exception was my exe's old Camero. It had a stronger engine and the shifts were easier. LOL. I feel you're every emotion...
I just came across your channel so I am sorry for the late comments, etc. Where is your mast and rigging? You said you "redid" the boat and it only took a week? It looks like the bottom needs painting and new antifouling applied. Do you have any solar for the battery that runs your little electric motor and lights, etc? Just curious. Sorry for the peppering of questions. I'll have to watch more of your videos and maybe some questions will be answered that way.
In the Uk and pretty much most of Europe you learn to drive with a Stick for ever. Only now as Electric and hybrid cars come more to the front do folks learn with Auto...
You should have gone live. We would have helped you with gears. When I learned I was taught 50% clutch 50% gas pedal . When the engine was geared high enough put the clutch in and shift into that next gear. When gearing down slowing down, foot in on clutch and gear down highest to the lowest, one gear at a time. Does that have a overdrive gear?
Windows down plus long hair plus learning how to drive a stick... = hair in a pony tail please becca!!!!.... I grew a couple white hairs and iam only 5 minutes in to the video. We love you
I do love my foil packs! Looks like yours turned out great. Thanks for the shout out Becca. Cheers!
had to try it out myself to make sure, it did not disappoint! thanks for showing my channel some love, I appreciate you :)
Becca learning from "The Legend". So 😎 to hear that!

It’s good to learn stick-you learn that and you can drive anything😊
First time with a manual and it's right hand drive. Girl you did fantastic.
thank you😭❤️
Yay, you did it! You should be proud of yourself. 😊
Also, boy did that look peaceful. 🥰

Learning to drive a stick is hard enough but a right hand drive is even harder! Great job!! Happy Camping and Safe Travels! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🐶🐶

Very cool mini truck. Glad you're back.
Looking very nice . Congratulations on your weight loss God bless you.
Becca, the Japanese little pickup truck that you made into a camper looked awesome, but your fish is even better. Love. Your shows until sky high and give her a hug from me, love your show.
I started driving in a manual. My first two cars were manual. It takes a lot of time and d patience for a beginner to learn but it’s not impossible
You did awesome with the driving, Becca. I've had about 4 bugs over the past 25 years and I totally love driving my current 1970 VW Beetle. Love, love, love her. Thanks for the adventure. See you both on your next one.

Learning to drive a stick is no easy task. You did great! I drive a Mini Cooper stick and just love it.
That was a fun video. Congratulations on learning a stick shift. I learned by purchasing a car and having to drive it home. 10 miles home and had it mastered.

Great job on learning how to shift standard gear truck ! I learned at 10 years old I drove my first car at 6 floated gears at 15 it was great !!
I've been thinking about buying one of these trucks and I never thought about truck camping with it but now I'm interested... Can't wait to watch

That Japanese Mini Pick Up Truck Looks Very Very Very Cool 😎 Becca.
My first car was a 1977 Chevy Nova. 3 speed on the column. Paid 500 dollars for it and drove it for 3 years. Best years of my life
this looked like it was tons of fun congrats 😊... Skye looked like she had fun on this trip to 🤗..
congrats on learning how to drive the world's coolest truck 😊...
My first car when I was 18 had a 3 on the tree😂 it was 62 Chevy. I got stuck at a stop sign but finally figured it out. Oh and that was in 1973😂
Nice job Becca, loved your video. Hello from California!

Foil packet cook out success! Gotta try the canned potato mix, wow seems great =)

Kei truck!❤ I own a JDM kinda Kei, it's a Mazda Bongo van 4x4. We do JDM car shows at anime conventions. Well done on learning manual shift!
Sup Becca, did better than think👍🏼, early 2000's best friend had car lot, I helped out, ,2 yrs later couldn't get in 3rd, I was limited to lot and side street lol, he still says I'm a fu+kip lol. thinking of getting one of these myself when i’m able to walk and drive again… don’t know how to drive stick either 😅
I love watching Steve 😂 and of course you too
Great episode!
I remember sitting in the backseat when my big sister was learning to drive stick in a little Datsun; I think I caused permanent damage to my body from laughing so hard, and probably had some whiplash 😂.
I can’t eat anything that’s canned… I have colitis and it just hurts to eat stuff from cans…
I’ve often wondered if you could make them into a camper! What do you do with the tent/mattress etc after the vid is over?
When we go camping we would always make meat packets for dinner on Saturday and we would make them with chicken potatoes baby carrots and baby corn
Ria would be proud
You got this girl!❤
Ryan Twomey another TH-camr built out one of those trucks.
Mav too.
Great job you did it I wish I had your patience
Hi Becca, from Minnesota where thelunfd boat company is New Yorkmills is God bless you and sky
YOU GOTTA LEARN SOMEHOW 😂😂😂
Great video! 🖤
Congrats on learning to drive a stick!
Yeah, No. That made me nervous for you. I'd rather you be safe behind a shelter with access to drive away, without being or going out. IJS I'm so glad that you were alright though. Thumbs up and love, from S. California.
A JDM kei truck is my dream mini camper truck
Flair has/had one of those trucks
Sky such a snuggle bug❤

yeahhhhhh in traffic id get more practice. No stress they gotta watch out first.
Have you seen Ryan Toomey's mini camper he built?
The Honda steering wheel though😂
New sub as of today! Binge watching today!
Love the video ❤
Once you've mastered shifting gears in the mini truck you're ready to get your CDL and tackle a big rig with an 18 speed. 🚛
Being a south paw would come in handy right about now.:)
OMG Dang stickshifts. I don't like them. One exception was my exe's old Camero. It had a stronger engine and the shifts were easier. LOL. I feel you're every emotion...
I still remember learning to drive stick lol 😂
It looks like it was different way to camp Becca
3:45 don't worry. The average Dodge driver does that even if you're going 100MPH
