- Jason convinces Sam to stay even though Carly knows the truth. Jason tries to smooth it over with Carly & Sonny who are not happy about the arrangement while handling other matters. GH Aug 3-5, 2004.
When Carly said you couldn't possibly love Sam the look on Jason's face said it all
It's so interesting seeing Jason rationalizing all the reasons of why he wanted Sam to stay when the truth of the matter was much simpler that anything he said. Jason cared too much and got used to Sam being there to just let her walk away. He liked the idea of the three of them becoming a family, especially since the first sonogram of the baby and after they agreed to name her Lila after Jason's grandmother. The baby and her circumstances were the perfect excuse for Jason to justify what his heart truly wanted but he didn't allow himself to admitted much less to say it. Although he was feeling it.

Kelly was only suppose to be on GH short term but the producers know they hit pay dirt when Jasam blew up, bc kelly& Jason chemistry was off the charts & look at her now still here 15 years later. Go Kelly
Uea they should be a couple in real life but, unfortunately steve burton is married! Ugh

Kelly is a great actress and her and Steve make a great couple on GH.

Carly is pathetic, she tears into Sam when she thinks she knows Jason better than anyone, which blows up in her face in 2008 when she finds out Jake is Jasons son.
Sonny is ridiculously territorial. It's pretty pathetic. He's always thinking about what he wants.
But Sam was wild card. When he went back Carly he's so used women fighting for his attention. Sam and Jason got close
When I look at this storyline I get angry about how Sonny was. Carly should have left. This was a blatant disrespect to their marriage even though it paved the way for JaSam.
Well that’s coz Sonny sucks & is overrated.
Sonny didn't want Sam but he was trying damn hard to keep Jason away from her and his baby imo he should've been thanking Jason for wanting to love his child, tuck her in at night & read her bedtime stories or just comfort her when she had a bad dream, wipe away her tears when she hurt herself bc that's something he couldn't do bc he would be with his family. I'm not saying Sonny shouldn't be in his child's life and I think she should know he's her father but Jason would be her daddy a constant person in her life & not a part time parent. I wish she would've lived but what the writers had ahead for them couldn't include children they wouldn't have became the Jason & Sam (Ride or Die ) Supercouple of G.H that we Jasammers love.
That's so true,I love the Ride or Die JaSam. GH needs this couple back,they should resign Steve Burton as Jason. Reunite Jason and Sam before the 60th anniversary of GH in 2023.

You didn't know it then BUT Jason you were choosing Sam over Carly.
Carly claims that she would ne er bwtray Jason like this. Let's see Carly tells Jason lets run away with Michael and Then betrays him by going to AJ and claiming Jason kidnapped Michael. Then she slept with Sonny and gave Michael to Sonny to adopt, not Jason. Once she had full custody she could have asked Jason to continue to be Michael 's father. Carly just wants it all regardless of what would be bedt for Jason. Carly only sees the world through what she wants. She is afraid of Jason and Sam becoming a family.
And Sonny is a hypocrite. He betrayed Jason and took his son and now he is territorial with Sam. He woyld rather her and the baby be alone then for them to be happy with Jason. He knows what an amazing attentive father Jason is. Thats why he told the truth. He wants it all even if its unrealistic. But he never thought about that when he betrayed Jason when he slept with Carly knowing how much Jason cared about her. And when he adopted Michael knowing that Jason was his father. Sonny has never sacrificed for Jason. Jason continues to sacrifice for Sonny. That's why I think he is so selfish.

Never betray Jason. When you finally had your chance with Jason you see Jason dancing with Elizabeth and she jumped into bed with sonny

Carly is something else literally, Selfish is her first, middle & last name who uses Jason more than her Sonny once told Jason that he was the love of Carly's life, Sonny was right, maybe Jason is the love of her life maybe that's the reason she always puts him first, even before Sonny & she never wanted him with anybody but Courtney but she's changed a little she wants him with Sam now that their friends which started after Jason's death but now that herJason's back that's probably will change soon enough.

Carly and Sonny deserved each other..deranged back then and still the same all these years later..Sonny expected Sam to be by herself and just have his daughter. Sam could have moved and still met someone and have that guy be the step father. Unfortuneatly things turned out differently with the baby.
