08:00 This information is incorrect, you do not have to undo the top to install or remove the disc. The fashion discs just slip on or off. This was the last time I 'winged it'. I do a number of takes now which is very helpful. Especially when I am threading the needle on the sewing machines. There are always lots of takes with them! Lol!
But I am surprized how often it is threaded the first try.

Darn what nice sewing machines within a few days I'll be getting one (431g) that is coming via UK. In order to remove the special disks rotate the patterns selectors out of the special disk position.
I do have one question. did you get a 220v to 110v converter?

THANK YOU FOR VISITING LUCIO MORALES, ME AND THE MACHINES APPRECIATE IT, LOL! MY SINGER 431 G HAS A PA10-8 MOTOR 110-120V. MY MACHINE CAME WITH NOTHING. I WRAPPED IT IN A TOWEL TO TRANSPORT IT! SO I DON'T HAVE A CONVERTOR. WHEN I CHECKED ONLINE LAST AUGUST, THEY ARE AVAILABLE ALL OVER THE PLACE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE BASE ABOUT CONVERTORS. BUT I WILL NEED ONE FOR THE ELNA SUPERMATIC. IT HAS A CONVERTOR BUT IT IS BEYOND REDEMPTION!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUESTION, JEBB.
